FA Cup: No Room For Complacency After Win Over KL City FC
KOTA BHARU, Aug 19 (Bernama) -- Kelantan The Real Warriors (TRW) head coach E. Elavarasan urged his players to remain focused on their upcoming Super League match, despite their victory over Kuala Lumpur (KL) City FC in the first leg of the FA Cup at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium last night. Elavarasan said the 3-1 home victory over KL City FC was not entirely comfortable, as his team will travel to the opponent's stadium for the second leg of the FA Cup in mid-September. 'Usually in the FA Cup, winning by a large margin in the first leg does not give players the chance to sit back and relax, because we still have to face the same opponent on their home ground in the second leg. Any result can happen when we are away,' he said at a press conference after the match at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium last night.
