Tractor run raises record amount to support boy with rare genetic condition
A tractor run has raised a record amount of money to support research into a rare genetic condition.
The event, held in support of three-year-old Zander Coates from Keld in Swaledale, raised £5,500 for Duchenne UK.
Zander was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy as a baby.

His mother Rebecca Coates said: "We would like to thank the community and the drivers for their love, help and support.
"The money will go towards finding a cure for Zander and other little boys."
More than 60 drivers took part in the 30-mile charity run, which included a stop at the Tan Hill Inn.

Landlord Andrew Hields presented a £1,000 cheque during the visit.
Zander joined the route in an off-road Land Rover.
In addition to the money raised on the day, a JustGiving page titled 'Keld Charity Tractor Run' has raised a further £1,400.
Ms Coates also thanked event organisers Chris and Glenda Calvert of Keld for their continued dedication.
Chris Calvert, a semi-retired farmer, has organised tractor runs since 2011, when he completed a coast-to-coast drive on his vintage Ferguson 20.
The 1948 model, powered by petrol, was purchased by his grandfather in 1951 from a garage in Reeth.
Glenda Calvert manages the event raffle, which featured 50 prizes this year and was held during the lunch stop.
