Kelly Ripa Says Mark Consuelos 'Ruined the Serenity of Our House' with One Decision He Made
NEED TO KNOW Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday, July 15 During their appearance, Ripa joked her husband's business venture has 'ruined the serenity of our house' The Live with Kelly and Mark hosts purchased a portion of Campobasso Football Club in 2022Kelly Ripa is calling out her husband Mark Consuelos for the impact his business venture is having on their home life On Tuesday, July 15, the married Live with Kelly and Mark hosts made a joint appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers to talk about their new ESPN docuseries, Running with the Wolves. The upcoming four-part series (premiering July 29) will give viewers an inside look at how the couple have been navigating ownership of an Italian soccer team they purchased in 2022. Mark admits to host Seth Meyers that purchasing a "piece" of the the Campobasso Football Club was 'kind of an impulsive buy.' Meyers then looks at Ripa and says, 'Now this is very sweet because you were supportive of this, but you only thought it was going to be writing a check?' This prompts Ripa to go into a tangent about how the purchase has changed their lifestyle — especially her husband's. 'There are so many ways in which I thought, 'He's going to invest in this little project, and then we will buy property in Italy,'' she jokes. She then notes, 'He has sunk a lot of money into this and he never stops working.' Consuelos explained earlier in the conversation that building the team back up after it went 'bankrupt' was a challenging feat. The team didn't have a coach or even players at the time they bought it, but Consuelos still recalls saying, 'Great, let's do it.' Explaining the aftermath of their big purchase, Ripa adds of her husband, 'He has ruined the serenity of our house. It is constant work. It's working all the time.' She continues, 'And I'm like, 'I thought you were just going to be a silent investor.' And the next thing I know, camera crews are coming into my house,' she adds, referring to her and Consuelos' New York City townhouse, that they recently showed off back in December. In a video tour with Architectural Digest, Ripa opened up about how their longtime home, where they've lived for 12 years, has become their 'favorite place on earth.' 'We've moved several times in our lives, but no matter where we go, for me, this is my forever home,' Ripa said while showing off the couple's sprawling primary bedroom. 'When I walked in here I was like, 'this is the final place where I will live.' I love this house so much.' Consuelos added to Myers that the soccer venture has him going to Italy 'five or six times a year.' While he's fluent in Italian, his wife has two words for how learning the new language has gone for her: 'It's terrible!' During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in May 2023, Consuelos opened up about Campobasso FC after it had a successful season in the Italian soccer league. He noted that the team's success, including winning 28 of 30 games at the time, came as a bit of a surprise. "Oh my gosh, this wasn't supposed to work out," Consuelos said at the time. "This was a hair-brained idea." Read the original article on People

Kelly Ripa shuts down Mark Consuelos' 'repulsive' morning habit
There's one prevalent bedroom tendency that Kelly Ripa just can't get behind. During an appearance on the "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast, Ripa discussed evening versus morning sex, with the talk show veteran telling host Amanda Hirsch that she finds her husband Mark Consuelos' preference for morning intimacy "disgusting." "Men are morning people. He hasn't learned, he'll never learn," Ripa, 54, said of her husband of 29 years. "He wants to kiss. And I have a retainer in. And he's got his nasal strips on. It's like we are the most repulsive, disgusting. I'm already pre-disgusted for tomorrow morning." She added: "I said to him, 'There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can't always be your way. 'Cause it feels like 90% of the time it's your way." Kelly Ripa says 'life becomes nudity' during empty nesting on 'Live with Kelly & Mark' The "Live with Kelly and Mark" cohost said that after the couple began working together, she started to push for "night only" sex. The early call times for the show have "almost repulsed" Consuelos, 54, from morning sex completely. "It's so early, and it's like a miracle. It's like a miracle has occurred," she said. Ripa said elsewhere in the interview that her outlook for keeping one's sex life active, which originated with her TV producer years prior, is to think of it like exercise, where consistency makes it more enjoyable. "The more you do it, the more you do it," she said. "And so, you just have to do it and then you're like, 'Oh, I remember why I like this.'" Consistent sex can also sustain a relationship. Called "maintenance sex," it has plenty of benefits. Research has shown that couples who have sex at least once a week are happier than couples who don't. Sex also releases endorphins to create a feeling of closeness between partners. What is maintenance sex and when does it become a problem? "It's an opportunity for people to engage in fun, affirming sexual touch even if it doesn't come from the deep rutting urge it came from when the relationship was new," Allison Moon, author of "Getting It: A Guide to Hot Healthy Hookups and Shame-free Sex," previously told USA TODAY.

Kelly Ripa reveals husband Mark Consuelos prefers morning sex, which she finds 'disgusting': 'He'll never learn'
No TMI here: Kelly Ripa is dropping her brutally honest thoughts about husband Mark Consuelos' preference for morning sex, which she says she finds "disgusting." Ripa's latest candid NSFW revelation came about on the latest episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fatpodcast, when the Live with Kelly and Mark star asked host Amanda Hirsch, "I don't know about you in your marriage, but I'm going to go personal. Are you an evening person or a morning person?" "Definitely not morning,' Hirsch quickly replied. "Do not breathe on me in the morning." "But men are morning people," Ripa pointed out, as a grossed-out Hirsch gave "props" to anyone who is getting intimate in the morning. "I find it disgusting," Ripa agreed. Hirsch then asked if Consuelos, to whom Ripa has been married since 1996, only wants to have sex in the morning. "Only in the morning. He hasn't learned. He'll never learn,' Ripa joked, adding, "He's a guy. He's never going to learn." "I said to him, 'Here's the thing,'" she continued. "'There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can't always be your way, 'cause it feels like 90 percent of the time, it's your way. And now that we work together every day, it's gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way's at night only.'" (Consuelos officially joined Ripa as cohost of Live with Kelly and Mark in April 2023.) As for why she finds morning sex to be repulsive, Ripa clarified, "He wants to kiss, and I have a retainer in. I gotta rip that out. And he's got his nasal strips on. It's like we are the most repulsive, disgusting [people in the morning]." The two agreed that men just "don't care" about things like retainers or morning breath or bed hair. "That d--- has a brain of its own and it doesn't see the retainer," Ripa added, before joking, "I'm already pre-disgusted for tomorrow morning." The TV host clarified that, regardless of preferences, they don't have sex every morning. The two of them working together on a morning show with very early call times has had surprising benefits to that effect — at least, for Ripa's sake. "The greatest thing about this job, this thing has like, almost repulsed him from morning time during the work week," she said of Consuelos. "It's so early and it's like a miracle." "May this show last until he suffers from erectile dysfunction," Ripa joked. "He's in his mid-50s now. Shouldn't that be happening now? I was promised!" Elsewhere on the podcast, Ripa discussed working with Consuelos, going viral for everything she says, marriage secrets, why she won't be getting a boob job, and more. TV host Kelly Ripa blasts husband Mark Consuelos for ‘repulsive' sex desire: ‘I'm already pre-disgusted'
US TV personality Kelly Ripa has dragged her husband and co-host Mark Consuelos over his 'repulsive' desire to have morning sex. Ripa discussed her sex life with Consuelos on Wednesday's episode of Amanda Hirsch's Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. 'I don't know about you, in your marriage, but I'm going to go personal. Are you an evening person or a morning person?' Ripa asked Hirsch, to which the podcast host replied, 'Definitely evening. Do not breathe on me in the morning.' The Live with Kelly and Mark star, 54, then claimed that all men prefer to get it on in the morning. 'I find it disgusting,' Ripa said, adding that Consuelos, 54, wants to have sex 'only in the morning.' 'He'll never learn. He's a guy,' she joked. Ripa admitted to telling her husband of 29 years that she needs him to sometimes be OK with hooking up at night. 'I said to him, 'Here's the thing,'' she recalled. ''There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can't always be your way. 'Cause it feels like 90 per cent of the time it's your way. And now that we work together every day, it's gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way's at night only.'' Ripa said that Consuelos also wants to kiss her in the morning — an act she finds very unsexy. 'I have a retainer in. I gotta rip that out,' she said. 'And he's got his nasal strips on. It's like we are the most repulsive, disgusting [people.]' But Ripa noted that men 'don't care' and that the 'd**k has a brain of its own.' She then joked, 'I'm already pre-disgusted for tomorrow morning.' The former actress clarified that they don't have sex every morning — especially now that they both star in their early morning show together. 'The greatest thing about this job, this thing has like, almost repulsed him from morning time during the work week,' she said. 'Which is like a miracle.' 'May this show last until he suffers from erectile dysfunction,' she prayed jokingly. Ripa pointed out that Consuelos is in his mid-50s and asked why he hasn't already started showing signs of impotence. 'Shouldn't that be happening now? I was promised!' she laughed. Ripa did, however, share her secret to how she and Consuelos keep things spicy after almost 30 years of marriage. 'It's like exercise. The more you do it, the more you do it,' she said of having sex. 'You just have to do it, and then you're like, 'Oh! I remember why I like this.'' Ripa said that it's easy to deprioritise lovemaking when life gets too busy. 'You're exhausted, your kids are young, you're working full-time, you have a lot on your plate, and that can easily get pushed by the wayside,' she said. The couple met on set of the soap opera, All My Children, in 1995 and quickly began dating. She and Consuelos tied the knot a year later and went on to welcome three children: Michael, 28, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 22. In May, Ripa admitted that the upside to being an empty-nester is that she and Consuelos can get busy in the bedroom at all times. 'Your entire life becomes nudity in the household wherever you want,' she said on her show at the time. Ripa said that they are a 'total freak show all the time' years after sharing that her daughter has accidentally walked in on them doing it on more than one occasion.
