With a touch of humor, she said, 'Many people are saying that I am pregnant. I don't have a six-pack, but I am not pregnant. Do I need permission to cross my arms now?' She described the entire situation as a "rabbit hole," where one rumor quickly leads to another. Kenishaa admitted that she could spend all her time responding to baseless claims, but she chooses not to. 'I am neither an angel nor a devil—I'm just a human being trying to navigate through all this noise,' she added. Her name has also been in the headlines due to alleged links with actor Ravi Mohan, who is currently going through a divorce with his wife, Aarti. The singer has faced intense trolling online, including death threats and misogynistic comments, which she strongly condemned. She appealed for empathy and urged people not to jump to conclusions, expressing her readiness to face legal consequences if proven wrong. There were even rumours that she was pregnant, apart from blaming her for the rift between Ravi and Aarti. In an interview with Behindwoods TV, Kenishaa clapped back at this. One was when a still of her was mistaken to be a post about her rumoured pregnancy, which she posted with a note about 'hope'. Clarifying that it's a still from her song, Andrum Indrum, and what people mistook for a stomach is actually her arms, she said, 'Many people are saying that I am pregnant. I don't have a six-pack, but I am not pregnant. Do I need permission to cross my arms now?' A post shared by KENEESHAA (@keneeshaa1) Kenishaa also said that she's grateful for those who are mature. Addressing naysayers, she said, "I am not an angel, but I promise you, I'm not the devil either. It's like a rabbit hole where one gossip leads to another. Kenishaa made news when she was dragged into Ravi and Aarti's divorce, but she claimed that the actor was just a friend and a client, as she's a spiritual healer. The two attended a high-profile wedding in Chennai in May and twinned in gold outfits. Later, they also attended the wedding reception together. Most recently, they made headlines again after visiting the Kundrakudi Temple. Pictures of the two with garlands around their necks in traditional outfits surfaced online. Ravi confirmed rumours in September last year and announced that he was separated from his wife, Aarti Ravi. The couple got married in 2009 and have two sons together. Aarti claimed to have been blindsided by his public announcement. When Kenishaa's name was brought up, she clarified that she was Ravi's friend and healer. Pictures of Ravi and Kenishaa posing with temple priests are doing rounds on social media. Kenishaa Francis has been in the spotlight amidst the ongoing social media conflict between actor Ravi Mohan and his estranged wife, Aarti Ravi. A few days ago, Aarti accused Kenishaa of being the 'third person' behind their separation. Since these accusations, Kenishaa has been subjected to abusive messages, rape threats, and death threats from various social media users. Responding to the online harassment and defamation, Kenishaa issued a legal notice on Sunday against those spreading false information about her alleged role in Ravi and Aarti's marital problems. The caption read, 'To All Offenders: Cease and Desist Notice from Keneeshaa's Legal Team." The legal notice shared by Kenishaa states, 'The present issue stems from the aftermath of recent widespread media speculation and reportage concerning the private affairs of third parties-specifically arising from the public discourse surrounding the marital separation of a well-known actor. In this context, our client has become the unwarranted focal point of a concerted and intensifying pattern of public speculation, digital hostility, and reputational assault. This fabricated association has resulted in an orchestrated and escalating campaign of digital defamation, carried out through defamatory publications, unauthorised use of name and image, circulation of manipulated or sexually suggestive imagery, and the re-publication of false, offensive, and reputationally injurious statements." 'The misconduct further includes the receipt of rape threats, death threats, sexually explicit and obscene messages, and repeated acts of online stalking and tagging, all of which are calculated to provoke public outrage, cause psychological injury, and inflict deliberate reputational harm," the notice stated. The legal notice highlighted that these actions constitute violations of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, including Section 75 (sexual harassment through unwelcome advances or sexually colored remarks), Section 351 (criminal intimidation), and Section 356 (defamation). It also mentioned breaches of multiple provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, such as Section 66E (violation of privacy), Section 67, and Section 67A (publication or transmission of obscene content in electronic form). Additionally, the notice stated that Kenishaa has gathered all relevant evidence—including URLs, usernames, timestamps, screenshots, and metadata—secured through independently verifiable digital hashing and time-stamping protocols, which will be used in judicial, regulatory, and investigative proceedings. A few days ago, Kenishaa mentioned that Ravi's fans have been accusing her of breaking his marriage and urged them to listen to her side of the story too. 'I'm not turning off my comments or running away. I have nothing to hide from no body. You have the right to question my actions but please come do it to my face and I'm happy to show each one of you and in public my side of the story and how one person's falsification is your truth. Kenishaa Francis issues legal notice over death threats and defamation amid Ravi Mohan's divorce from Aarti
Kenishaa Francis has been in the limelight amid the ongoing social media battle between Ravi Mohan and his estranged wife, Aarti Ravi, surrounding the fallout of their marriage. A few days ago, Kenishaa had shared that she received abusive messages from several users on Instagram. On Sunday, she issued a legal statement against the vile messages and online defamation that she has received over her link to the marital separation of Ravi Mohan. The legal statement was divided into 9 different points. The statement began with the decision of Kenishaa to take a firm step after she became an 'unwanted focal point of a concerted and intensifying pattern of public speculation, digital speculation and online assault'. A part of the statement read, 'These acts amount to direct violations of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, including Section 75 (sexual harassment through unwelcome advances or sexually colored remarks), Section 351 (criminal intimidation), and Section 356 (defamation), as well as multiple provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, including Section 66E (violation of privacy), Section 67 and Section 67 A (publication or transmission of obscene content in electronic form).' A post shared by KENEESHAA (@keneeshaa1) A point detailed that the client has received 'death threats, sexually explicit and obscene messages' that were directed towards her, which caused her 'psychological injury and reputational harm.' The legal statement went on to add that the screenshots will be taken into consideration for judicial proceedings. Ravi and Aarti had been married for 15 years, and it was in 2024 that he walked out of his house, stating irreconcilable differences and filing for divorce.
