The 51-year-old, who has three sons with husband Mike Lam, posted family photos of their second child, 19-year-old Joel, who has been accepted into National University of Singapore's Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. In a separate video, Lina shared it was once her "childhood dream" to be a doctor. "For a few precious minutes, he (Joel) made my dream come true. So sweet of him," she wrote in the caption. In the clip, Joel handed Lam his flower bouquet and put his doctor's coat on Lina. "Always wanted to be a doctor but it never came to pass… I've never been a doctor in any of my shows either," she said to the camera before the three posed for a photo. The former member of pop group One N' Only was found guilty by West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts on Aug 13 for molesting a 27-year-old female interpreter at a March celebration banquet after a fan-meet in Hong Kong. According to media reports, Kenshin, 26, allegedly touched the woman's thigh repeatedly and also invited her to the bathroom. Kenshin was issued a HK$15,000 (S$2,500) fine. According to South China Morning Post, judge Peter Yu said: "Some people may feel the defendant's acts were very trivial. There were even opinions accusing the victim of making a fuss about nothing. I don't agree. "The defendant's acts were clearly disrespectful of women. They deserve condemnation because they violated Hong Kong law." Kenshin rose to fame after starring in the hit boys' love series Our Youth (2024-2025). Kenshin Kamimura has been found guilty of sexual assault In a recent court hearing, the J-pop star was found guilty of assaulting an interpreter at a fan event. At the court hearing, as per reports from The Japan Times, the star denied the allegations and asked for a change of sentence, which was denied. He was even fined 15,000 HKD. The incident reportedly took place in March earlier this year, during a dinner, where one of the interpreters working with Kenshin at the event alleged that he had touched her thighs inappropriately multiple times. She also shared that, in an inebriated state, after getting rejected multiple times by her, he kept on making advances, and even used a translation application to make lewd comments about her as well. Request for leniency At the official court hearing for the case, the actor/idol's legal representation had requested leniency. They had used past life experiences, such as the loss of his father when he was only 10 years old, and being raised by a single mother and sister, as valid enough reasons for leniency in the matter. Rising boy band blends winter and summer in a bold seasonal twist, showcasing diverse charms with double main tracks Rising boy band Close Your Eyes is back with a new album just three months after its debut, bringing a refreshing mix of summer heat and winter chill with a playful twist. The band's second EP 'Snowy Summer' dropped Wednesday, featuring four tracks, including the double main tracks 'Snowy Summer' and 'Paint Candy.' While its debut song 'All My Poetry' leaned into a soft, lyrical charm, this release adds a splash of mischievous energy and youthful confidence. ''Paint Candy' is a total shift from the emotional style we showed in our debut. It's got a much hipper vibe,' explained leader Jeon Minwook. 'It's a New Jack Swing-style track with strong beats and a powerful performance to match.' He added, ''Snowy Summer' is still easy-listening, but much more playful and bright. The contrast between snow and summer gives the track a unique identity that I think will stand out among all the music being released.' On 'Paint Candy,' member Ma Jingxiang shared, 'The rhythm made me want to move the moment I heard it. The choreography is amazing too. It's my favorite track.' While Jeon and Jang Yeojun had taken part in rap-making and choreography for the debut, this time member Kenshin contributed to creating the choreography for 'Paint Candy.' 'I suggested the chorus choreography for 'Paint Candy,' and it ended up being selected— I was so happy,' Kenshin said. Jang added on to help Kenshin, who is still learning Korean, 'The bouncing rhythm really reflects Kenshin's style. His choreography brings the song's mood to life.' Song Seungho noted that the charm of the new songs lies in their playful spirit. 'During recording, the director told me to sing like I was teasing another member. I really tried to capture that playful tone.' The group shared how much fun they had shooting the music video for 'Snowy Summer,' which tells a quirky story of the members dying in ridiculous ways and becoming ghosts just before Christmas. 'I remember shooting the scene where I fall out of a window and crash into Ma Jingxiang below,' said Seo Kyoungbae with a laugh. 'We had fake shattered glass scattered around that was actually made of sugar, and when I told him, he tried to eat it.' Jang recalled shooting a group dance scene. 'It was our first time dancing with professional dancers on set, and the choreography looked so dynamic.' Formed through the JTBC survival show 'Project 7' in 2024, the seven-member group debuted this April with the album 'Eternalt.' The album topped music charts upon release and sold over 310,000 copies in its first week, earning them the sixth highest first-week sales of all time for a K-pop boy group debut album as of that Tuesday. 'We felt a strong sense of responsibility. We made a quick comeback because we wanted to show fans even better music and performances,' said Jeon. Though Close Your Eyes has mainly focused on boyish charm in the two albums released so far, the members said they are open to exploring a variety of styles in the future. 'We've mainly shown a youthful and bright concept in our main tracks, but our B-side 'To The Woods' had a sexy and intense vibe that fans loved. I'd love to try something like that again,' said Jang. Kenshin Kamimura kicked out of ONE N' ONLY
7 Mar - It was revealed that Kenshin Kamimura has been kicked out of his group, ONE N' ONLY, following allegation of indecent assault. The news was announced by his agency, Stardust Promotion, saying that they have terminated Kenshin's management contract due to serious compliance violations, and apologised to fans and those involved. They added that from now on, ONE N' ONLY will only proceed with their activities as a five-member group, including for their upcoming live tour. It was earlier this week that a blind item alleged that a Japanese man was arrested after inappropriately touching a Hong Kong woman at a restaurant in Mong Kok. Several Hong Kong news outlets later reported the man to be Kenshin, and that the incident occurred at a celebratory dinner following a fan meeting on 1 March, where a female interpreter was present. It was during this time that the woman was allegedly molested. The victim called the police and a social worker the next day, and Kenshin was thereafter arrested.
