DHSE Kerala +2 Results 2025: The Kerala Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) has announced the Plus Two (+2) or Class 12 results today, May 22 at 3 PM. Of the 3,70,642 students who took the exam, 2,88,394 qualified, taking the overall pass percentage to 77.81%. The pass percentage has seen a drop compared to previous years. Last year witnessed a drop in the overall pass percentage compared to the previous years too. In 2024, class 12 students recorded a 78.69 per cent pass rate. In 2023, this number was 82.95 per cent. While in 2022, as many as 83.7 per cent passed and in 2021, the pass percentage was 87.94 per cent. In 2020, the overall pass rate stood at 83.13 per cent and in 2019, it was 84.33 per cent. This year, science stream recorded the highest pass percentage with 83.25% of the students clearing the exam. This was followed by commerce stream at 74.21% pass rate and 69.16% of humanities stream students cleared the exam. To pass the Kerala 12th board exam, students must get at least 35 per cent on each paper as well as in total. Students can now check their class 12 (Plus Two) results 2025 via the official websites at and They can also check it on DigiLocker app using their Aadhar number and exam roll number. After checking the results online, students also need to review their mark sheets and ensure that all the information mentioned on them is correct. In case of any error in the online mark sheet, they need to check with the authorities at the earliest. Students must check their personal details, calculations, grades and marks parity, spelling, and pass/ fail status. Students who failed in one or two subjects can retake exam, that is, they can sit for the supplementary test. They can also apply for re-evaluation of mark sheets. Following the announcement of the Kerala Plus Two exam results, the Kerala Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) on Thursday announced that the Plus Two SAY (Save A Year) examinations for 2025 will be conducted from June 23 to June 27, 2025. The application for the Save a Year (SAY) exam is not available online. Instead, the application forms must be collected from the candidates' respective schools, and once filled it should be submitted to their respective principals. Before submission, passport size photograph must be pasted and attested by the school principal in the space provided in the application form. The Principal of the school will register the candidates at their centre for SAY/Improvement Examination 2025. The principal will download and distribute the admission tickets of the candidates at least three days before the commencement of the examination. The principals will then prepare the nominal roll and question paper statement of the candidates attending the examination and upload the details through Department Portal within the time limit specified. Students who are interested in applying for the Kerala SAY exam must take note of the following dates: Practical exam will be conducted on June 4 and 5 in a selected centre, one in each district. The Examination will be conducted in the selected Higher Secondary Schools in Kerala, all schools in Lakshadweep and a selected school in the Gulf region. Candidates who failed the Kerala Second Year exam are eligible to apply for the exam. Such candidates shall register for all subjects for which they failed to attain D+ grade or above. Candidates who attained the minimum required passing grade of D+ but wish to better their scores can also apply for the improvement exam. However, in this regard, private compartmental candidates are not eligible to attend the exam. The CE and PE scores (PE, in the case of subjects with Practicals) of the March Examination of such candidates shall be carried over. Candidates who had not undergone Practical Evaluation previously, would be allowed to attend the exam. The consolidated certificate following the release of results of the SAY exam will include the scores attained in the previous exam and the re-examination.

The overall pass percentage of science stream was 84.84 per cent, for Commerce it was 76.11 per cent while for Arts it stood at 67.09 per cent. In the vocational stream pass percentage was 71.42 per cent. The Save a year exams (Supplementary exams), will be conducted by the board for students who will fail, allowing them to improve their marks. Also, students dissatisfied with their results will be able to apply for rechecking of their papers. The details regarding this will be announced on the official website soon after the declaration of results. A minimum of 30 per cent marks is required in each paper and overall to pass the Kerala board Class 12 exam.
