Bakersfield man on probation arrested on suspicion of drug sales under Prop 36
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man was arrested after a home search led to the discovery of cocaine and money in his home on Tuesday, according to the Kern County Probation Department. On June 3, officers with the probation department's Post Release Community Supervision Unit conducted a home call in the 100 block of Hudson Street, according to officials. Officers found about 240 grams of suspected cocaine and U.S. currency in various denominations at the home, officials said. Erik Gutierrez Vega, 19, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance for sales and keeping a place to sell drugs, according to the department. Gutierrez Vega was also arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with two prior convictions under Proposition 36. Man on probation arrested in Lake Isabella under Prop 36
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Lake Isabella man was arrested on Friday after a search warrant led to the discovery of drugs and other illegal items, according to the Kern County Probation Department. On May 16, Adult Probation Services Division officers conducted a home call in the 2400 block of Cherry Street, Lake Isabella. During a search of the home, officers found about 15.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a gambling device and various denominations of United States currency, according to officials. Man arrested on suspicion of stealing city fencing, growing marijuana on property: BPD Michael Brown was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance for sales, possessing drug paraphernalia, gambling, obstructing a peace officer and violating probation, officials said. Man arrested on suspicion of using a truck, chain to pull front doors of a business in Shafter
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man on Post Release Community Supervision was arrested in Bakersfield after allegedly burglarizing a business in Shafter using a truck and heavy chain open the doors. Officers with the Shafter Police Department and Kern County Probation Department Post Release Community Supervision Unit served a search warrant in the 2300 block of Kent Drive in Bakersfield for evidence related to the burglary the happened on March 27. According to officials, the burglary was reported in the 6600 block of East Lerdo Highway. At the residence on Kent Drive, Jesus Garcia, 45, of Bakersfield was identified as the suspect in this case. Officials said Garcia was on community supervision for a previous burglary. During the search officers found several live rounds of ammunition, a bullet proof vest, suspected drugs and items consistent with tools used in committing burglaries. 4 arrested, 96 grams of narcotics seized after probation officers search Bakersfield home
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Probation Department arrested four people after a large quantity of drugs was discovered in a south Bakersfield home. Eric Prindle, Steven Moore, Joseph Redmon and Michael Todd were arrested in the 3700 block of McCourry Street on Wednesday for various drug charges, according to the probation department. Officers said they discovered 16.1 grams of fentanyl, 80.8 grams of methamphetamine, evidence of drug sales and drug paraphernalia during the search of a home. Prindle and Moore were arrested under suspicion of possession of a narcotic, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a narcotic for sales, possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. Redmon was arrested for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and Todd was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drugs with two prior convictions under Proposition 36. Rosedale man arrested after probation officers locate meth and fentanyl
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man on active felony probation was placed under arrest last Wednesday after a Glock and suspected methamphetamine were found in a Rosedale home, according to the Kern County Probation Department. Probation officers conducted a house search Feb. 26 in the 1900 block of Deerfield Street, and arrested Jeremy Bell. Officers search the home allegedly uncovered a Glock 43x handgun, 16 live rounds of .30-30 ammunition, 24 live rounds of .38 special ammunition and 41 live rounds of 9mm ammunition, according to the probation department. 1988 Northern California homicide victim identified as a Kern County man Officers also discovered 13 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 14.7 grams of suspected fentanyl and 13 grams of suspected Xanax pills.
