Former Rajya Sabha member hails services of RSS in Kurnool
Former Rajya Sabha member T.G. Venkatesh hailed the services of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in protecting and promoting the country's rich culture and traditions.
Mr. Venkatesh on Monday participated in the bhumi puja of Kesav Smriti Mandali construction on 10 acres of land at Munagalapadu on the outskirts of Kurnool. The rituals were performed under the aegis of Achalananda Ashram seer Sri Sri Virajananda Swamy.
Stating that members of RSS were extremely disciplined, Mr. Venkatesh said that he also attended RSS Shakhas from the age of 8, which imbibed discipline and character in his life. Attending RSS Shakhas will imbibe qualities like patriotism and respect towards elderly people, he said.
Mr. Venkatesh said that RSS is the only organisation which delivers selfless service without expecting anything in return. He also announced financial assistance for the construction of the Kesav Smriti Mandali and support for the RSS in future as well.
RSS representatives, Kurnool Mayor B.Y. Ramaiah, Adoni MLA P.V. Parthasarathi and others also participated.
