Jet2 issue 'special' gesture to UK tourist following important airport announcement
An iconic airline issued a "special" gesture to one of its passengers earlier this month. While Jet2 were celebrating the opening of the brand in their 13th UK airport, the brand surprised one specific customer with a gift they could not believe. Passenger Lorraine Kent and her family were on the first flight with Jet2 from London Luton Airport to Majorca on April 1, when the plane company pulled out all the stops to please those on the first journey from the airport. From a VIP customer experience to refreshments, gifts and even a "Spanish guitarist," passengers on the flight were treated to an array of gifts. But that wasn't the only surprise for Lorraine and her family. The Kent family were looking forward to their Majorca getaway as the Easter holidays kicked in, and were ready to start their holiday - but what they weren't expecting was to win a very special Jet2 gift. The airline, which flies to 75 destinations across Europe, gave Lorraine and her family the "best possible start" to their holiday as they received the news that their holiday would not stop in Majorca. The Kettering-based family were told they had won a five-star seven-night holiday to Turkey for two adults and two children - and Lorraine simply couldn't believe it. She expressed how grateful she was for the free holiday and told Jet2 what the opportunity meant for her.
