Jonas Brothers Reveal How Upcoming Tour Is 'a Lot Different' Than Anything They've Done (Exclusive)

Jonas Brothers Reveal How Upcoming Tour Is 'a Lot Different' Than Anything They've Done (Exclusive) originally appeared on Parade. The Jonas Brothers are gearing up for the release of their Greetings From Your Hometown album and accompanying tour. Kevin, 37, Joe, 35, and Nick, 32, opened up about what fans can expect from this era of their careers while chatting exclusively with Parade amid their partnership with Mastercard in support of Stand Up To Cancer. 🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 'The album itself is a return to our roots,' Kevin begins, citing some of the 'inspirations' the brothers had growing up, including the Bee Gees. 'Being able to include those kinds of themes and inspirations in this music — you're definitely going to feel it and hear it. We even went back to our hometown and shot the album covers and walked through those streets.' Nick goes on to tell Parade that their forthcoming 20th anniversary tour is 'a lot different' than any show they've put on before. 'We're trying to tell a 20-year story in whatever it's going to end up being, 90 minutes or two hours. And that story is very personal to us and touches on a lot of different chapters in our journey,' the Jumanji actor says. 'So I think the focus for us is really on building something out that gives the audience a look into where we were at those different points in our life and where we were creatively and then where we are today. We really can't wait to get started.' As for why it was important for the two-time Grammy nominees to partner with Mastercard in support of Stand Up 2 Cancer, the siblings say that working with them was an absolute 'no-brainer,' as they've seen firsthand the toll that cancer takes on a family. 'We stand up for our father. He had colon cancer,' Kevin explains. 'Luckily he's in remission now. Anytime we can bring more awareness and show support for everyone that's been affected by cancer is something that we can absolutely not say no to. And for us to work with the team at Mastercard and especially Stand Up 2 Cancer is just incredible.' Joe adds: 'The core of this campaign is the people that are affected.' Through Aug. 22, Mastercard will donate one cent — up to $5 million — to Stand Up 2 Cancer when cardholders tap or order online with their Mastercard at qualifying restaurants and grocery stores. To kick off the collaboration, Mastercard gave Jonas Brothers superfans and their loved ones impacted by cancer the once-in-a-lifetime experience of being featured in the band's music video 'I Can't Lose,' which is also featured on their forthcoming Greetings From Your Hometown album. The song and accompanying music video officially drops Tuesday, July 15, and a special airing of the video will debut during tonight's 2025 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard on FOX following SU2C's Placard Moment. It will also be available on Mastercard's YouTube and Instagram channels. 'It's a big power ballad [and] power anthem to our fans, and I think will be an incredible thing to play live on this next tour,' Kevin says of 'I Can't Lose,' adding: 'I can't wait for people to hear it.' Fans and supporters can share how they stand up to cancer on their socials with the hashtag #StandUpWithMastercard. The Jonas Brothers' new album, Greetings From Your Hometown, is out Aug. 8. Kevin Jonas says he lost 90% of his fortune amid Jonas Brothers hiatus

Photo: Kevin Jonas/Instagram Kevin Jonas (pic) has revealed he lost 'most of' his money nearly a decade ago, following the Jonas Brothers' 2013 band break-up. The 37-year-old New Jersey native and eldest JoBro appeared with his brothers this week on Lewis Howes' The School Of Greatness podcast, where he said he was left with just 10% of his fortune mere years into their hiatus. 'I've seen the beginning of financial success, not knowing what money really was and understanding it to … losing almost all of it,' Jonas said, attributing the latter to 'a bad business deal.' Jonas explained that roughly nine years ago, he lost nearly all of his money after investing the bulk into 'a bunch of property and doing other things and I was building at the time.' 'Sadly, it just wasn't the right partnership,' Jonas said, noting he couldn't get 'too much into' the details of the deal. 'We had a second shot, bite at the apple, with the band coming back together,' he added of their 2019 reunion. 'And it actually was kind of fortuitous in a way. I learned this lesson, never wanted to learn it but I did.' The group — which also includes brothers Joe, 35, and Nick, 32 — is currently gearing up for the release of its new album, Greetings From Your Hometown , dropping Aug 8, and a North American tour kicking off two days later. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service

Kevin Jonas Recalls Losing 'Almost All' of His Money Due to Bad Business Deals After the Jonas Brothers Split

Kevin Jonas recalls a period of his life when he lost 'almost all' of his money. Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers recently appeared on the School of Greatness podcast, hosted by Lewis Howes, to promote their upcoming album, Greetings From Your Hometown. During their conversation, they discussed many topics. One of them was the biggest lesson the brothers learned from money, success and fame over the years. 'I've seen the beginning of the success to financial success, not knowing what money really was and understanding it, to not having to losing almost all of it — seeing bad business deals.' He elaborated, saying he lost his fortune, almost nine years ago, 'down to the one 10 percent left.' He added, 'Invested in a bunch of property and doing other things and I was building at the time, and sadly it just wasn't the right partnership, if you know what I'm saying. Can't really get too much into it.' However, Kevin 'learned a lot of lessons' from those experiences. 'Thankfully for life in general, like we had a second shot and bite at the apple with the band coming back together and actually it was kind of fortuitous in a way,' he said. 'I learned this lesson. Never wanted to learn it, but I did. Then, at the same time re-evaluated how to approach life and from that perspective and looking to the future and at the same time was able to really feel honored that we could have a second shot at it.' The Jonas Brothers split in 2013 due to a 'deep, creative rift.' However, they reunited in 2019 with the release of the album Happiness Begins, which proved to be a commercial and critical success. They've also embarked on global tours, as well as individual projects. The Jonas20: Living the Dream Tour, their 20th anniversary tour, is set to begin in New Jersey, their home state, in August. It will also include Marshmello, the All-American Rejects and Boys Like Girls. Greetings From Your Hometown, the Jonas Brothers' seventh studio album, releases from Republic Records on Aug. 8. 'I've learned a lot': Musician nearly went broke after his pop band split

Kevin Jonas, eldest member of the Jonas Brothers, is incredibly thankful that his band reunited given that fact that he almost lost all of his money when the group disbanded. Jonas' significant financial loss was the result of 'a bad business deal,' he disclosed on a recent episode of 'The School of Greatness' podcast. 'I've seen the beginning to financial success — not knowing what money really was and understanding it — to losing almost all of it," the 37-year-old told host Lewis Howes. About nine years ago, Jonas said he had roughly 10% of his money left after he 'invested in a bunch of property and [was] doing other things and I was building.' 'Sadly it just wasn't the right partnership,' the musician added. Despite nearly going broke, Jonas is grateful that he and his brothers — Joe and Nick — were given another chance at fame. 'I learned this lesson, never wanted to learn it but I did, but then at the same time re-evaluated how to approach life from that perspective and look to the future, and at the same time was really able to feel honored that we could have a second shot at it,' Jonas said. The Jonas Brothers first took a hiatus in 2011 before officially splitting in 2013. They reunited in 2019 and released their first music in six years. The Jonas Brothers will celebrate their 20th anniversary with the 'Jonas20: Living the Dream' tour that kicks off in their native New Jersey in August.
