McGee , a professor at Aichi Shukutoku University in Japan, to write a memoir titled, 'Fight Forever: The Ballad of Kevin and Sami.' World Wrestling Entertainment announced this week that its July 28 airing of Monday Night Raw will take place at Little Caesars Arena. The broadcast will be the final version of Raw before one of WWE's signature events SummerSlam, which will take place in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Aug. 2-3. Advertisement This will be the first WWE event to take place in Detroit in 2025. WWE was last in Detroit on Dec. 30th, making a stop at Little Caesars Arena on its live holiday tour, though the event wasn't televised. The last televised WWE event from Detroit was a Friday Night Smackdown broadcast from Little Caesars Arena on April 12, 2024. That event featured AJ Styles defeating Kevin Owens and Rey Mysterio in a highly-contested triple-threat match. WWE has yet to release the list of wrestlers who will be appearing at the event.
