More to come from Haydock Eyecatcher Volterra
That was over seven furlongs and Kevin Ryan returned him over that trip in the John of Gaunt at Haydock, where for much of the race he travelled like the winner. Surprisingly for a horse with several races over a mile he was outstayed, fading into third, and it would be no surprise were he to win a big race over six furlongs this season for the same connections as Inisherin, although his only Royal Ascot entries are over a mile.
