Hip-hop duo Seedhe Maut have been approached for 'Bigg Boss 19'. Siddhant Sharma (stage name Calm) and Abhijay Negi (stage name Encore ABJ) have managed to strike a chord with Gen Z. Their upbeat songs like 'Raat Ki Rani', 'Khatta Flow' and 'Nanchaku' enjoy millions of views on of the reasons behind their massive popularity is the fact that the duo make music on issues prevalent in society. Some of the issues that they have made music about include politics, Indian society and the education system. The relatable lyrics, combined with hip-hop beats, are becoming a rage in the Indie music source informed India Today that the hip-hop duo have been approached for 'Bigg Boss 19' but they are yet to sign on the dotted lines.
If they give their nod, their participation could attract a new set of audiences to the show. In the recent past, rappers like Naezy and MC Stan added to the popularity of the show. With Seedhe Maut entering the 'Bigg Boss' house, season 19 could just get a musical upgrade. Hosted by Salman Khan, 'Bigg Boss 19' is set to premiere on August 24. The makers recently shared an official promo hinting at the theme of this season, which is 'Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar'. In the video, Salman can be seen saying the housemates will hold the power to make decisions this said, 'Bigg Boss ka har season alag hota hai, lekin iss baar toh scene hi palat gaya hai. 'Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar' ka matlab hai power unke haath mein, aur jab power milti hai, toh asli chehre saamne aate hai (Every season of Bigg Boss is different, but this time the whole game has changed.
