Scott Disick Celebrates 42nd Birthday By Gushing Over His 'Unbelievable Children'

Reality star Scott Disick is ringing in his 42nd birthday by celebrating his three children, 15-year-old Mason, 12-year-old Penelope, and 10-year-old Reign. The sweet moment happened when he shared a photo of his youngest son as he sat near some birthday balloons meant to celebrate the reality star. The post also lead to an interesting conversation during a recent episode of Khloé Kardashian's podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, after Koko asked her sister Kourtney Kardashian's former boyfriend how he was handling his dating life now that his kids have gotten older. The mother of two dove right into the drama with Disick, asking him how he was juggling dating while raising his three kiddos. 'Like that's separate. Or is it? Do you discuss that with them? Do they ask? Because they're older, I imagine they're asking," Koko said. 'Yeah, they ask me… they'd like me to be with somebody, I think. And they do voice to me that they'd like me to be with someone," Disick explained. "And I kinda say until I find the right person, I don't really want to bring another person around unless it's like the end-all be-all person." "Just cause I don't want them to get attached to somebody else, but I have to do my thing too, or I'll never meet anyone," he continued, noting that they're all getting older, and it won't be too much longer until they're dating as well. "So for the next five, six, seven years, if my attention is on them, I have the rest of my life to be a single guy. Right now, I like that my focus is on them. And if I was with somebody else, yeah, I'd still be a good dad, but I would have somebody that I'd be putting on a pedestal near them.' Apparently that struck a cord with Koko, who is also a single parent. "But because I feel the same, I feel like my kids are… yes mine are younger than yours but they're just my top priority," she explained. "And I don't care about dating. I don't know what will happen in a couple years or next year, I don't know." While we have to imagine that both Disick and Koko will soon be on the hunt for love once more, it's nice to see them both so committed to ensuring that their kiddos remain their first priority. 'I think living authentically is not conforming to whatever it is,' Kourtney said. 'Let's say, the school system—I'll think, 'Why do kids fucking go to school?' Truly, it's so dated.' 'Oh, I'm such a homeschool person. So, don't even get me going,' Khloé chimed in. Kourtney credited her children: Mason, Penelope, and Reign (who she shares with her former partner, Scott Disick) with changing her thoughts on education. The wellness mogul also has a baby son, Rocky Thirteen, with husband Travis Barker. Kourtney explained how her kids have sent her videos of "successful people" detailing why '[their] kids never go to school, and they're never going to.' 'Then I'm like, 'OK, what's the goal here? You want to do homeschool? Let's do it,'' Kourtney said, reiterating that she backs her children's decisions fully. Read the original article on InStyle

Kourtney Kardashian Faces Major Backlash After Bashing School System

While the Kardashian family is no stranger to controversy, Kourtney Kardashian is likely wishing she had phrased a comment a little bit differently during a recent appearance on her sister Khloé Kardashian's podcast. That's because her thoughts on the school system have a drawn a lot of ire from parents everywhere, which has cast a bit of an unflattering light on the mother of four. Related: Nap Trapped: Kourtney Kardashian Says She Hold Her Son for the Entirety of His 3-Hour Naps Everything went down when the sisters were talking about living lives that are true to themselves, especially while raising kids. The 46-year-old explained a bit about what that could like like in her family, saying, "I think living authentically is not conforming to whatever it is," she said during the Khloé in Wonder Land recording. "There's ways we function as a family that… it's like if someone does the same thing every day. Like I do it with everything, it's not about our family." The controversial moment came in the next breath, when Kardashian gave an example of what she meant. "Like, let's say the school system. I'll think, 'Why do kids [expletive] go to school?' Truly. It's so dated." While her sister Koko immediately agreed, and even suggested that she planned to homeschool her two children True and Tatum, the internet was absolutely not on the same page as the famous sisters. Her critics took to X, according to Hello! magazine, calling her out over the idea that she would homeschool. "She needs to home school her kids," one person wrote. "The question is will she do it or go hire a teacher." Others called the comments both out of touch and outrageous. Fortunately, the Kardashians have never put too much stock in the opinions of others, so it's likely that neither sister will even care that their comments ruffled any feathers. 'Why do kids even go to school?': Kourtney Kardashian sparks uproar with bold parenting rant on Khloé's podcast

Kourtney Kardashian Barker ignited controversy on Khloe Kardashian's podcast by questioning the relevance of traditional schooling. If you thought Kourtney Kardashian Barker had run out of bold takes, think again. The reality TV star and entrepreneur stirred up a whirlwind of controversy this week—not with a beauty launch or a family feud, but with a mic-drop musing on something most people take for granted: school. On the latest episode of Khloé in Wonder Land , hosted by her sister Khloe Kardashian, the 46-year-old mom of four took a detour from conventional celebrity chatter to challenge the very foundation of childhood routine. Sitting across from Khloe, Kourtney let loose a view that quickly had the internet buzzing: 'Why do kids f**king go to school? Truly. It's so dated.' Framed as a conversation about living authentically and rejecting societal molds, Kourtney's remarks stemmed from her self-proclaimed identity as a non-conformist. 'I love to just go against the grain,' she said, casually tossing away the idea that traditional education is a necessary rite of passage. And to many people's surprise, Khloe didn't bat an eye—instead, she leaned right in. 'Oh, I'm such a homeschool person. So don't even get me going,' Khloe responded enthusiastically, echoing her sister's sentiment. Together, the sisters painted a picture of a parenting style rooted in intuition and alternative choices, far removed from PTA meetings and pencil cases. Kourtney didn't stop at schooling. She pulled back the curtain on how she manages her children's health—spoiler alert: it doesn't involve a quick trip to the pharmacy. 'I will nurse the fever of my kids versus giving Tylenol or Ibuprofen,' she revealed, citing her preference for a more natural, hands-on approach to caregiving. 'I just want to do that,' she added, clarifying that while the rest of the world may slowly be shifting toward similar philosophies, the U.S. still lags behind. With four kids—Mason (15), Penelope (12), Reign (10), and baby Rocky (18 months)—Kourtney is no stranger to the highs and lows of parenting. And whether you agree with her or not, it's clear she's carving her own path, even if that means rewriting the parenting playbook page by page. For a Kardashian, courting controversy is second nature—but this time, it's not about body image, brand wars, or tabloid tiffs. Kourtney's provocative pondering over the relevance of the school system may have been casually dropped mid-podcast, but its ripple effect has been anything but casual. Online reactions have ranged from applause to outrage. Some praised her for questioning outdated systems and embracing homeschooling, while others slammed the remarks as out-of-touch and Kourtney Kardashian Barker raising a flag for educational reform—or simply flexing her star-powered independence in a way only a Kardashian can? Either way, one thing is clear: she's not afraid to ask the uncomfortable questions, even if it makes the internet erupt.
