Khushi Kapoor's Heart Shaped Emerald Choker Sparks Bold Romance At India Couture Week
Khushi Kapoor paired Rimzim Dadu's showstopper ensemble with diamond jewellery from Jagat Jewels. Khushi Kapoor closed Day 7 of Hyundai India Couture Week, as Rimzim Dadu's muse. Inspired by Gujarat's Banjara tribes, Rimzim's collection OXYNN was enhanced with heritage and luxurious jewellery pieces from Jagat Jewels. Making a sparkling statement in Jagat Jewels' Maharaja Manor collection, Khushi Kapoor paired her showstopper couture piece with a heart-shaped emerald choker, framed by a constellation of fancy-cut diamonds and set in 18K gold. Exuding radiance and opulence on the runway, Khushi celebrated Rimzim's design aesthetic and Jagat Jewels artistic allure with elan. Sparking bold romance and regal elegance on the runway, Khushi further enhanced her style quotient by pairing the choker with the three-line strand of mixed fancy-shaped diamond necklace. This timeless jewellery is an ode to modern sophistication and masterful craftsmanship envisioned by Jagat Jewels. The collaboration with Rimzim was the perfect ode to modern sophistication where timeless pieces told a story and every jewel was a poem set in gold. 'We believe that jewellery is an extension of identity and artistry. Being part of Rimzim Dadu's showcase gave us the opportunity to celebrate Indian craftsmanship in a modern light, a perfect complement to the strength and innovation of the collection," says Gursimran Chadha, founder, Jagat Jewels. Khushi Kapoor looked like a modern-day princess warrior in the contemporary couture piece designed by Rimzim Dadu. Inspired by the intricate links of traditional payals, the showstopper ensemble was reimagined through Rimzim Dadu's signature pre-oxidised metal technique. Every motif on Khushi couture ensemble was sculpted to resemble weathered, heritage metal—aged, burnished, and rich with character. Khushi's look took over two months to craft, with each detail designed to echo the raw elegance of Banjara-inspired oxidised jewellery, elevated into a modern couture statement. Rimzim Dadu's OXYNN collection didn't replicate the Banjara aesthetic but celebrated their spirit, craftsmanship, adornment, and ethos. The collection highlighted their mirrored textiles, oxidised jewellery, and layered silhouettes and Rimzim beautifully abstracted these elements into her own design vocabulary. The silhouettes ranged from sculpted lehengas and engineered blouses to metallic pre-draped saris, modular bombers, and sharply tailored suits. Hyundai India Couture Week in association with Reliance Brands, an initiative by Fashion Design Council of India will culminate with a grand finale showcase by JJ Valaya on July 30. view comments Location : New Delhi, India, India First Published: July 30, 2025, 10:54 IST News lifestyle Khushi Kapoor's Heart Shaped Emerald Choker Sparks Bold Romance At India Couture Week Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Khushi Kapoor Brings Power And Precision To The Ramp At India Couture Week 2025
Last Updated: Khushi Kapoor brought power and poise to the runway in a Rimzim Dadu ensemble that was inspired by the delicate links of traditional payals. Khushi Kapoor brought commanding elegance to the Hyundai India Couture Week 2025 runway, closing Rimzim Dadu's show in an ensemble that felt equal parts art, armour, and avant-garde couture. View this post on Instagram A post shared by FDCI (@fdciofficial) In a setting of earthen hues and modern installations, Khushi Kapoor emerged as a futuristic princess warrior, glowing with grit and grace. Her look, a sleek yet powerful interpretation of traditional Indian ornamentation, fused old-world craftsmanship with contemporary innovation. The sculpted halter top, moulded using Rimzim Dadu 's signature pre-oxidised metal technique, mimicked the ripple of molten fabric while offering the strength of sculptural steel. The detailing along the hem, inspired by the delicate links of traditional payals, added a layer of sensual geometry to the otherwise minimal silhouette. The long skirt featured a chainmail-like pattern, crafted to resemble burnished Banjara jewellery. Each metallic loop was aged to perfection, giving it a tactile, lived-in feel that spoke of history and heritage. This wasn't just embroidery; it was engineered couture. Taking over two months to construct, Khushi's ensemble was designed to embody raw elegance, every element meticulously shaped to evoke a sense of armour softened by ornament. Her styling amped up the narrative: bold emerald jewellery added colour contrast to the monochrome metalwork, while her softly tousled hair and smoky eyes kept the look contemporary and arresting. The collection itself was a celebration of contrasts – craftsmanship and modernity, delicacy and strength. Rimzim Dadu's 2025 couture line built upon her legacy of textile innovation, pushing boundaries with pre-oxidised metallic threads, structured silhouettes, and tactile surfaces. Inspired by weathered heirlooms and tribal adornments, the pieces leaned into oxidised textures, sculptural forms, and architectural finesse. From pleated metallic saris to experimental jackets and modular separates, every look was a modern heirloom – designed to empower, not just adorn. Khushi Kapoor's showstopper moment brought the house down, redefining what Indian couture can be: not just ornate and traditional, but sharp, storied, and utterly future-forward. tags : fashion FDCI India Couture Week India Couture Week khushi kapoor lifestyle Rimzim Dadu view comments Location : Delhi, India, India First Published: July 30, 2025, 10:36 IST News lifestyle Khushi Kapoor Brings Power And Precision To The Ramp At India Couture Week 2025 Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
