Influencer Lizzie Kieffer Shares Touching Moment She Had With 12-Month-Old Daughter Before Death
Pregnant influencer Lizzie Kieffer reflected on parenthood days before the death of her 12-month-old daughter, Lily. In a Wednesday, April 23, Instagram video, Kieffer shared a series of clips with Lily and daughter Mia. In the snippets, Kieffer and her daughters are seen embracing, stretching alongside each other and going for a walk outside. 'Never forgot this was the whole point,' Kieffer wrote over the video. 'Being in the front row seat to their life is my greatest honor. 💕,' she captioned the post. (Kieffer shared in March that she and husband Matt are expecting their third child, due in September.) Days later, Kieffer — a physical therapist who rose to fame on the internet for giving tips about women's health — shared that daughter Lily died days after her 1st birthday. 'We are shattered,' Kieffer wrote via Instagram on Saturday, April 26. 'Wednesday we woke up to a nightmare that we never could have ever imagined becoming our reality. Our Lily passed away. Our hearts, our bodies, our souls ache for her as she was the purist of beings and brought light to every single space she filled,' the post read. 'Our days were written before we were even formed, and in Lily's 374 days of life, she taught us more than I think many could in their lifetime.' Kieffer noted the family will 'never fully understand this mystery until we see her again one day.' 'What we do know is God is faithful and brings light to the darkest of places. And we know Lily is being held so tight by Jesus and loved ones in heaven. And probably playing in her ball pit or riding in her little red car up there. We feel her,' she wrote, explaining that the family has 'come to learn' that Lily had a 'large mass on her brain.' Kieffer claimed that they 'could have never known about as she never showed signs,' adding, 'We won't know more answers with many of these things for months until further testing is done.' Physical Therapist and Influencer Lizzie Kieffer Pays Tribute to 12-Month-Old Daughter After Death Kieffer noted that they are surrounded by their loved ones, before concluding the message with a photo of Lily smiling at the camera as she rode a tricycle. 'Lilybug, you are our angel. And we know you'll always be with us,' the post read. 'Daddy, Mommy, Mia & new baby love you so damn much and we miss you every single second.' The caption read, 'We are shattered. You taught us more in 1 year than most can in their life, Lily. We feel you with us. And we feel your spirit already in this new baby. You will always, always be a part of us and although the hole will never be filled, speaking your name will sing through our days bringing joy into the moments. You're our light in this darkness and we know God is holding you in an extra special place.' 'Please keep our family deep in your prayers,' the caption concluded. 'We know they work and we feel them and the support. We appreciate it more than you know.'

Pregnant influencer left 'shattered' by mysterious death of 12-month-old daughter
The influencer Lizzie Kieffer shared the unfathomably tragic news that her 12-month-old daughter had died this week. Kieffer — a physical therapist and social media star — revealed in a heartbreaking Instagram post that she and her husband Matt Kieffer were 'shattered' by the mysterious death of their daughter Lilian 'Lily' Louise Kieffer. In the tender post, she revealed that her youngest child had been suffering from a 'large mass on her brain' that had previously gone undetected. Kieffer, who is currently pregnant with her third child, also shares an older daughter named Mia with her husband. Her daughter Lily died less than 10 days after celebrating her first birthday. 'We are shattered,' she began her devastating announcement. 'Wednesday we woke up to a nightmare that we never could have ever imagined becoming our reality. Our Lily passed away.' 'Our hearts, our bodies, our souls ache for her as she was the purist [sic] of beings and brought light to every single space she filled,' Kieffer continued. 'Our days are written before we were even formed, and in Lily's 374 days of life, she taught us more than I think many could in their lifetime.' She wrote that the family 'don't have answers' as to what happened to their daughter, nor could she explain why her death was 'God's plan' for their lives. However, she expressed certainty that her late daughter was with 'loved ones in heaven,' and she sweetly added that Lily was 'probably playing in her ball pit or riding in her little red car up there.' Centre County organizations working to raise awareness for child abuse prevention
CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) – Several Centre County organizations are working to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month. At a recent commissioners meeting, Stephanie Haldeman with Centre County Children and Youth Services said the office investigated over 200 cases of alleged child abuse in 2024. Of those, 18 were classified as abuse cases. Theresa Kieffer, VP of Programs for the Youth Service Bureau (YSB), says abuse can stem from several factors. 'Families who have experienced abuse in their own lives and haven't been taught another way, or given the tools that they need to be able to raise their own children in that nurturance,' Kieffer said. Centre County names April Sexual Assault Awareness Month Kieffer says the YSB sees about 10-20 kids a day and helped roughly 10,000 in 2024 through different services like a reunification program, a girl's group home and space for homeless teens. Though it is still important for kids to know what boundaries should be in place, Executive Branch Director for the YMCA of State College Jamie SanFilippo says it is crucial for adults to get involved with the process as well. 'At the end of the day, children are no match for a determined perpetrator,' SanFilippo said. 'So, again, it falls on us as adults to protect children.' The YMCA and the YSB offer child abuse prevention training for adults and teens. SanFilippo says they have trained roughly 9,000 adults since 2012. In early 2024, they launched a new version of the training updated with new statistics about the state of child abuse. 'What we're seeing is a rise in peer-on-peer abuse. We're also seeing a rise in online sexual exploitation,' she said. 'So a lot of the facts that we're seeing are based around online abuse.' She says about 400 adults have gone through the new training. While it is Child Abuse Prevention Month for April 2025, it is also Sexual Assault Awareness Month throughout the county as well.
