Lewis Capaldi beams on Ireland trip alongside celeb pals as they take boat ride
The Scottish singer enjoyed some seal, dolphin and seabird spotting on the sight-seeing cruise over the weekend alongside the likes of pal Sam Fender. Lewis Capaldi was spotted in Ireland taking in all the sights, as he made memories alongside celeb pals. The Scottish singing sensation, 28, was taking a boat ride in Killary Fjord alongside other music legends at the weekend. It comes following the Someone You Loved hit maker's welcomed return to the music scene in an emotional Glastonbury performance. Lewis had taken an extended break from music after choosing to focus on his mental health, with things taking a toll. However it seems he is now in great spirits, as he was pictured with Dubliners Fontaines D.C, who took to the stage at TRNSMT festival earlier this month in Glasgow. Sam Fender, 31, also joined the group alongside actress girlfriend Rosa Collier. The tour guide company Killary Fjord Boat Tours posted the photo to Facebook, and captioned it: "After all the excitement of having Lewis Capaldi and Fontaine DC aboard this weekend, here's the money shot, as captured by crew member Sinead, of the whole gang posing with the true star of Killary Fjord... our beautiful Connemara Lady!" Delighted crew members also shared some selfies with Capaldi and Fontaines D.C's frontman Grian Chatten. One fan commented on the post: "Great photo, hope they enjoyed your great cruise." Another added: "Brilliant experience for them all." Praising the cruise, a third social media user said: "It's certainly spectacular." The Irish trip for Lewis comes as he's putting his health at the forefront, after previously revealing he packed on the pounds following his breakdown in 2023 after his Glastonbury performance. Lewis kept under the radar, leaving many fans awaiting his return. The Scottish singer has candidly opened up on his mental and physical health, confessing he once weighed 20 stone following the rough patch in his life. Lewis also discussed previously his battle with his tourettes and struggles with anxiety, although confirmed he is in a much better place now, and on a better track in life. He delighted audiences last month when he made a sensational return to the Glastonbury stage for a surprise set. Fans were also thrilled when he was brought out on stage at Noah Kahan's gig in London's Hyde Park as a special guest. The Scots musician stunned the Worthy Farm crowd with his surprise set and the debut of a new song. He had sent shockwaves on social media when he dropped a teaser for his brand new song on Instagram just hours before his Glastonbury appearance. The song, titled Survive, clearly means a lot to the BRIT Award winning artist who has faced mental health struggles over the past two years and taking a step back from music. Alongside the video, Lewis wrote: "It's been a while." And in classic Lewis style, the artist's new song is full of emotion. Lyrics on the track include "I swear to God I'll survive" and "I'm going to get up and live until the day that I die." This led to him confirming his brand new tour in September, with tickets selling out in seconds for his highly-awaited comeback.
