South Korean actress Lee Seo-yi, who recently appeared in The Divorce Insurance (2025), has died at 43. Lee's credits included films such as romantic comedy Killing Romance (2023) and crime thriller The King (2017), as well as K-dramas like soap opera Cheongdamdong Scandal (2014 to 2015). She made her acting debut in 2013 with MBC's historical drama Hur Jun, The Original Story. The Instagram post from July 1 was captioned: 'Hello. This is Song Seo-bin, the manager of actress Lee Seo-yi. My brilliant, beautiful, pretty and kind sister became a star in heaven on June 20, 2025.' The cause of death was not mentioned. Ms Song added that while fans might be shocked and heartbroken by the news, she urged them to pray for Lee to 'go to a good and beautiful place'.
