Judge in Kerry says ‘Puck Fair is not all about drink' as he reduces drinking hours at famous festival

Kerry District Court Judge David Waters has refused an exemption until 3am for pubs in Killorglin during Puck Fair ending a tradition that has been ongoing since the 1970s.
The exemption application for 14 pubs came before Killorglin District Court sitting in Cahersiveen this week – seeking a 3am exemption for two of the three dates of the festival's duration; August 10 until 12 this year.
