According to Newsen's reports, Park Jin Young from GOT7, who recently found a lot of success from his drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul', is being considered for the lead role in the upcoming drama! The actor has managed to excel in the romance genre, and if he is cast for the role, it will bring upon a new challenge for him, as this will be one of the first times that he will be seen in a period romance drama . Jinyoung is currently reviewing the script as it has officially been offered to him. If he becomes the star lead of the drama, he will be playing actress Kim Yoo Jung 's romance in the drama, who is known for her roles in '20th Century Girl ', ' Backstreet Rookie ', and 'Lovers of the Red Sky'. About the drama '100 Days of Lies' follows the story of one of the best pickpockets in Gyeongseong, who ends up going undercover as a spy as a deal with the Independence Army. Kim Yoo Jung will be playing the role of the pickpocket who will be working undercover at the Japanese Government-General of Korea. Actress Kim Hyun Joo , known for her roles in projects like 'Trolley', 'Hellbound', 'Undercover', and 'Miracle That We Met' is also joining the cast as one of the lead members. According to BH Entertainment's response to Newsen, the actor was indeed offered the role in the project. However, he is only considering the script as of now and has not confirmed his participation. Kim Yoo Jung was being considered for the portrayal of a top pickpocket who turns into a spy for the independence movement after a deal with them. If chosen, she would join the project under a disguise, working for the Japanese Government-General of Korea. Further details of the two characters' interpersonal relations have not been revealed so far. It is known that Ryu Bo Ri, the writer of Do You Like Brahms? and Trolley, will be helming the K-drama alongside director Yoo In Shik, known for work in Extraordinary Attorney Woo and the Dr. Romantic series.
