Kim Young Kwang will play Baek Ho Rang, a gifted businessman who is a strong candidate to be a company leader, but keeps his artificial heart a secret. Chae Soo Bin plays Na Bo Bae, a screenwriter with a deadline to finish a romance screenplay before her contract expires. She was struck by lightning as a child and has electrical currents coursing through her body. The two meet, with Na Bo Bae having the ability to recharge Baek Ho Rang's battery. He offers her a contract, whereas she sees this as a love life opportunity. A brand new fantasy romance K-drama is in the making. Chae Soo Bin and Kim Young Kwang were reported to lead upcoming series Charge Me Up in April 2025. The deal has been finalized with an OTT giant, leading us one step closer to the show's premiere. Chae Soo Bin and Kim Young Kwang's Charge Me Up is set for OTT release The upcoming webtoon-based series Charge Me Up will be jointly produced by Newpoint, an affiliate of NEW and Why Not Media. Recently, they have completed their contract with the OTT giant Netflix and finalized it as the official platform for airing the series globally.
