Kim Zolciak's daughter Ariana Biermann sentenced over 2022 DUI — days before Bravo show premiere

Kim Zolciak's daughter Ariana Biermann is the latest Bravo star to be sentenced for driving under the influence. In a hearing last Friday, the 23-year-old reality star took a plea deal to avoid jail time for her 2022 arrest, according to court docs obtained by In Touch. The outlet reports that she pleaded guilty to reckless driving and possession and use of drug-related objects. However, other charges, including a DUI, were dropped by prosecutors. Biermann will serve 24 months of probation, pay over $2,000 in fines and perform 40 hours of community service. Additionally, she also has to eliminate alcoholic beverages or drugs unless prescribed and complete an evaluation for substance abuse and take a Victim Impact program. The court warned Biermann that she could end up in jail if she violated any of her probation orders. 'Ms. Biermann maintained her innocence since her arrest. We are pleased that the State of Georgia eventually decided to dismiss the impaired driving charge and offer Ms. Biermann the opportunity to plead guilty to a traffic ticket,' her lawyer, Justin Spizman, told Page Six in a statement Thursday. 'Despite her desire to fight this case, she took advantage of the opportunity to put this matter behind her and focus her energy on all the positive endeavors in her life.' Page Six has also reached out to Biermann's rep for comment. In August 2022, Biermann, who was 20 at the time, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper/erratic lane change and underage possession/purchase of alcohol. Her then-boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, who was also 20 at the time, was arrested for an alleged DUI, along with allegedly furnishing alcohol to a minor and violating the conditions of his limited driving permit. Biermann denied the charges at the time and her lawyer said that she was 'involved in a minor fender bender. However, the police 'immediately initiated an investigation for DUI.' Biermann's sentencing comes days before her new show, 'Next Gen NYC,' is set to premiere on Bravo. The reality show follows a group of friends who were raised in the spotlight as they work their way through adulthood. 'Next Gen NYC' premieres June 3 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on Bravo.

Kim Zolciak's daughter Ariana receives sentencing THREE years after DUI arrest

Kim Zolciak 's daughter Ariana Biermann has finally received her sentencing following her 2022 DUI arrest. The media personality, 23, was involved in a 'minor fender bender' at the time - but denied that she had been drinking leading up to the incident. However, she admitted to using a marijuana vape the night before. A hearing recently took place last week on May 23 amid her criminal case and she entered a plea deal - with charges officially being dropped, per InTouch Weekly - which was first to report the news. She pleaded guilty to both reckless driving as well as possession and use of a drug-related object. However, the star will have to serve 24 months on probation and if she commits any violations, Ariana could possibly serve time in jail. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Biermann's probation details also include that she will have to undergo both drug and alcohol tests 'from time to time.' She must stay away from alcohol and drugs - unless prescribed to her by a medical professional - and also complete an evaluation for substance abuse. Ariana will need to do 40 hours of community service, pay over $2,000 in fines and also take a Victim Impact program. The class helps 'drunk and drugged driving offenders understand the lasting and long-term effects of substance impaired driving,' per the Victim Impact Panels website. If Biermann completes the above as well as passes her drug and alcohol tests, her probation has the possibility of ending early. The star's lawyer Justin Spizman told InTouch: 'Ms. Biermann maintained her innocence since her arrest. 'We are pleased that the State of Georgia eventually decided to dismiss the impaired driving charge and offer Ms. Biermann the opportunity to plead guilty to a traffic ticket.' Spizman added, 'Despite her desire to fight this case, she took advantage of the opportunity to put this matter behind her and focus her energy on all the positive endeavors in her life.' Leading up to the hearing last week, Ariana had been facing six misdemeanor charges. In August 2022, Biermann was arrested at the age of 20 following a 'minor fender bender' in Forsyth County, Georgia. She had been joined by boyfriend Hudson McLeroy at the time who was also arrested for alcohol-related charges. According to TMZ, officers had reported telling Ariana that they could smell alcohol on her breath - despite her claims that she had not been drinking. However, the media personality did admit that she had 'smoked a THC vape pen the night before but did not drink.' Biermann underwent a field sobriety test and law enforcement had alleged that she had a 'noticeable sway.' At the time of the arrest, Ariana faced three separate charges including misdemeanor DUI driving under the influence of alcohol, misdemeanor improper/erratic lane change and underage alcohol possession/purchase of alcohol. Her lawyer had told TMZ: 'Ariana was involved in a minor fender bender. When police arrived on scene, the investigating officer immediately initiated an investigation for DUI.' The attorney added, 'Despite Ariana's constant invocation that she was upset and anxious from the minor accident, the officer incorrectly concluded she was impaired by alcohol. That was not the case. 'She wholly denies these allegations and intends to fight these charges because she is not guilty of them.' Ariana's sentencing comes just days before she is set to star in the upcoming Bravo reality series titled Next Gen NYC - which will begin airing on June 3. The new show will follow children of former Housewives - such as Kim Zolciak and Teresa Giudice. Episodes will 'follow a tangled web of friends raised in the spotlight - or at least close enough for good lighting - as they stumble into adulthood one brunch, breakup and spontaneous decision at a time,' per an official synopsis. Along with Ariana, other stars that will appear in the series includes Gia Giudice, Riley Burruss, Ava Dash, Brooks Marks, and more. In a short preview snippet of the first episode, the media personality commented on her parents Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's ongoing divorce. The former sports player recently filed for divorce for a third time - shortly after the estranged couple finally sold their Atlanta mansion for $2.75 million amid financial woes. And while recently talking to Bravo's The Daily Dish, Ariana have a positive update on her mom Kim as she moves on following the split from Kroy; seen above with Kim Zolciak and sister Brielle 'My mom is Kim Zolciak. Do we still say Biermann? I'm not sure this week,' she humorously stated. 'My mom did [The] Real Housewives Of Atlanta. And my dad played football for a while. And now they're getting a divorce. It's been very messy, so I was really ready, ready to get out of Atlanta.' And while recently talking to Bravo's The Daily Dish, Ariana have a positive update on her mom Kim as she moves on following the split from Kroy. 'My mom's new house is amazing. She's so happy. She was living in the basement of our old I think for her, it's almost like a really nice, fresh start.' Biermann continued, 'Where she can be in her own space and kind of just heal from everything that's gone on in the past couple of years.' She also had kind words for Kroy. Upon tying the knot with Kim back in 2011, he adopted both Ariana and Brielle, 28 - whom Zolciak welcomed during a past relationship. The former couple also share four children: KJ, 13, Kash, 12, and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 11. 'I hope he's doing amazing. Real Housewives star slammed for casino promo after estranged husband says she gambled away $1.5M fortune

Kim Zolciak is facing fresh backlash after promoting an online casino — despite ongoing claims that her gambling habit helped tank her family's finances. The 47-year-old former Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her estranged husband Kroy Biermann have been embroiled in ongoing legal and financial chaos, shocking fans when they each filed for divorce in May 2023 after nearly 12 years of marriage. Since then, the pair have been locked in a messy dispute over their Georgia mansion, custody of their four minor children, child support, and alimony. Amid 9-1-1 calls and fiery claims from both sides, the former NFL linebacker told police in 2023 that Kim was a 'compulsive behavior addict' who had blown a staggering $1.5 million on gambling. But this week, Kim appeared to shrug off the drama, posting an Instagram video promoting the online casino Stake. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'One of my favorite things to do when I have some free time is to play on Stake,' she captioned the clip. Now, fans say Kim's casino promo is just the latest sign she's not owning up to her mistakes. Many see it as her flaunting the same behavior that wrecked her marriage and finances in the first place, as critics didn't hold back in the comments. 'Isn't this the issue that caused the split? #gottaproblemdontcare,' one user asked. Kim clapped back, replying, '@lauriesg absolutely not.' But the backlash kept coming: 'Omg your gambling. You've learned nothing,' one wrote. Another added, 'Ain't u already gamble away your fam's $?' while someone else chimed in, 'Promoting gambling when you have literally lost everything. Get it together, girl.' The accusations about Kim's gambling losses were seen in a 2023 Milton Police Department bodycam video after officers responded to the home after Kim reported a domestic dispute. Many see it as her flaunting the same behavior that wrecked her marriage and finances in the first place, as critics didn't hold back in the comments Biermann said that Zolciak's penchant for gambling had grown exponentially in recent years. They were pictured in Atlanta in October of 2022 The footage was obtained by about two months after Biermann and Zolciak filed for divorce from one another. Biermann - who was cautious as he spoke to law enforcement in hopes Zolciak would not hear him- called the Bravo personality a 'narcissist to the extreme level.' Biermann said that Zolciak's penchant for gambling had grown exponentially in recent years. 'It's probably been going on for pretty much our entire marriage and it's gotten significantly worse,' Biermann said of Zolciak. 'In the last two years, she's gambled away $700,000 - just in the last two-and-a-half years.' He added: 'The total in the marriage was about $1.5 million dollars - and she does it online.' In the incident, Zolciak told police that Biermann had locked in a safe a cache of valuable items she owned that were worth $175,000 - including designer purses and jewelry - and hid the key from her. Biermann said he believed the lot of items fell under the classification of community property, adding of the items: 'The problem is these are the assets, there are no [other] assets to go to.' Biermann told police that the Don't Be Tardy alum 'has decimated everything' with her penchant for gambling; he added that some of her gaming activity was illegal. Zolciak and Biermann's four kids - Kroy Jr., 13, Kash, 12, and twins Kane and Kaia, 10- were at home at the time of the altercation. (Biermann had adopted Zolciak's older children from previous relationships - Brielle, 26, and Ariana Biermann, 21 - when they were minors in the couple's earlier years.) In documents filed at the time, Zolciak said that Biermann smokes marijuana, calling into credibility his ability to raise their kids; while Biermann claimed that Zolciak's gambling habit has consumed her time and decimated the family finances. In February, the exes sold their Georgia home for $2.5 million, after originally attempting to sell it for $6 million. They bought the seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom property in 2012 for $880,000. In March, Kim confirmed she's dating again just days after breaking down in tears over finally being 'free of' Kroy. While she didn't reveal the identity of her suitor, Zolciak — who was previously linked to Tom Hanks' son Chet — dished that he's 'age-appropriate' and 'definitely not' a Hollywood type.
