"El Hareefa: Al Remontada" Gets Streaming Date
Yara Sameh Rising Egyptian actor Nour El Nabawy's film "El Hareefa: Al Remontada" will make its streaming debut on Yango Play on Friday, March 28. The pic is the follow-up to the film "El Hareefa". In February, the film received the sequel treatment following its massive performance at the domestic box office that reached EGP 75 million. The follow-up features original cast members Nour El Nabawy, Ahmed Ghozzi, Kozbra, Abdulrahman Mohamed, Salim El Turk, Khaled El Zahaby, and more. Asmaa Galal, Asser Yassin, and English football legend Michael Owen are set to guest star in the pic. The original film follows Majed, who is forced to leave his high-end life and move from a private school to a public school. Over time, he gains the respect of his classmates with his football skills. "El Hareefa: Al Remontada" follows El Hareefa's decision to achieve their dream together after winning the championship in the first part. The sequel is scripted by Eiad Saleh, directed by Karim Saad, and produced by Tarek El Ganainy. "El Hareefa: Al Remontada" hit cinemas on December 4 and achieved remarkable success, grossing EGP127 million and surpassing 'Kira & El Gin', which earned approximately EGP120 million during the 2022 Eid al-Adha movie marathon. This milestone places 'El Hareefa 2: El Remontada" as the third highest-grossing film in Egyptian cinema history, pushing 'Kira & El Gin' down to fourth place. Saudi-shot action thriller ‘Seven Dogs' drops first-look images
DUBAI: First images for Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah Saudi-shot action thriller 'Seven Dogs' have dropped as the production shoots outside the capital of Riyadh. For the latest updates, follow us on Instagram @ The $40 million project from the 'Bad Boys for Life' directorial duo is being shot at the newly inaugurated Alhisn Big Time Studios in Riyadh, one of the Middle East and North Africa region's biggest film and television production facilities, with additional filming at Riyadh Boulevard. Riyadh will also serve as a stand-in for multiple international cities, including Mumbai and Shanghai. The thriller is based on an original story by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority. Egyptian stars Karim Abdel Aziz ('The Blue Elephant,' 'Kira & El Gin,' 'Abu Ali') and Ahmed Ezz ('Kira & El Gin,' 'The Cell,' 'Welad Rizk') headline the action film. Ezz plays Interpol officer Khalid Al-Azzazi who apprehends Ghali Abu Dawood (Aziz), a high-ranking member of the clandestine global crime syndicate known as Seven Dogs. A year later, the organization resurfaces, trafficking a dangerous new drug — Pink Lady — across the Middle East. With time running out, Khalid reluctantly joins forces with Ghali, the only person with intimate knowledge of the syndicate's operations. Their uneasy alliance propels them on a high-stakes mission across multiple global cities as they strive to dismantle the organization and prevent the drug from flooding Arab streets. 'Seven Dogs' is slated for a late 2025 release.

Belgian directorial duo Adil & Bilall are best known internationally as the directors of of the third and fourth installments of the Bad Boys franchise: Bad Boys for Life (2020) and Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024) which together grossed over $830M at world box office. Their other credits include 2018 Belgium set breakout Gangsta, and its recent sequel Gangstas and 2022 drama Rebel about a Muslim Belgian family dealing with the threat of radicalization at home and in Syria. Seven Dogs is slated for a late 2025 release.
