Knighthawks and Veterans Outreach Center hosting Military Appreciation Night
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Knighthawks are teaming up with the Veterans Outreach Center to host Military Appreciation Night for Saturday's game. Festivities include an American flag giveaway to the first 1,000 fans, and 2,000 co-branded mini-flags featuring the Knighthawks military-jersey design will also be distributed as a pregame giveaway. The Knighthawks are teaming up with the Veterans Outreach Center for Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, but first, the Amerks have Hometown Heroes Night. The team will honor all first responders, frontline medical staff, and military members during Friday's game. Before the Amerks take the ice, at 4:00 that afternoon, RPD will face off against members of the sheriff's office in an exhibition. The Amerks are offering all hometown heroes and military personnel one free ticket to the game, with additional tickets for family and friends available for up to 25% off.
