What would Koby Brea bring to the Boston Celtics?
What would Koby Brea bring to the Boston Celtics? If you want to succeed in Joe Mazzulla's system, then you must be able to knock down your perimeter shots with a high level of consistency. Therefore, it's fair to assume that Brad Stevens will be looking for talented shooters in the upcoming NBA Draft, where the Boston Celtics hold the 28th and 32nd picks. In a recent episode of the "How 'Bout Them Celtics?" podcast, hosts Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance explore Koby Brea as a potential prospect. Brea fits perfectly with how the Celtics like to play. His shooting would instantly secure him a spot on the Celtics bench; however, he would still need to prove himself on the defensive end. Brea, 22, is a five-year collegiate product. He spent four seasons with Dayton in the A-10 before transferring to the SEC this past season, where he suited up for Kentucky. Despite the step up in competition, Brea continued to establish himself as an elite shooter. In 36 games, he averaged 11.6 points on 43.5% shooting from 3-point range, taking 5.9 attempts per outing. He leaves his collegiate career behind hi,m having shot 43.4% from deep in 149 total games. You can watch the full podcast episode by clicking on the embedded video above. A Kentucky big man has been invited to the G League Elite Camp
A Kentucky big man has been invited to the G League Elite Camp It was announced earlier in the week that both Koby Brea and Otega Oweh were invited to attend the NBA draft combine. Now, Kentucky Wildcats center Amari Williams has an invite of his own: to the G League Elite Camp per John Chepkevich of Draft Express. The camp lets players show what they can do in front of NBA personnel, and has resulted in late invites to the combine. That's certainly the hope for Williams, who would like to play his way into the NBA. Williams definitely has the size that NBA teams covet. He's big, strong, and uses his size well. He's also a terrific passer and facilitator, but he struggles to finish at times, and doesn't shoot the ball well. There could be a team out there that sees potential in Williams and thinks they can develop his offensive game. If so, he can be a solid player in the NBA. He'll try to show what he can become May 9th through the 11th.

Tennessee vs. Kentucky Sweet 16 betting odds, prediction, pick
Tennessee vs. Kentucky Sweet 16 betting odds, prediction, pick The Sweet 16 round of March Madness continues on Friday, and in the second game to tip of the night, we have what should be a thrilling SEC duel. No. 2-seeded Tennessee faces No. 3-seeded Kentucky, guaranteeing that at least a third SEC team will join Alabama and Florida, who punched their tickets to the Elite Eight with wins on Thursday night. This will be the third matchup of the season between these two teams, and while the Wildcats are seeded lower, they actually got the better of the Volunteers in both regular season contests. Now, they look to complete the three-game sweep and advance to the Elite Eight for the second straight season and third time ever. Meanwhile, UK hopes to return to the Elite Eight for the first time since 2019 in Year 1 under coach Mark Pope. Here are the odds and predictions ahead of Friday's game between Tennessee and Kentucky in Indianapolis. Tennessee vs. Kentucky game odds: All college basketball odds via BetMGM Spread: UT -4.5 (-110), UK +4.5 (-110) Money Line: UT -200, UK +170 Over-Under: Over 144.5 (-110), Under 144.5 (-110) Tennessee vs. Kentucky prediction, pick: The Wildcats have impressed so far in the tournament, dispatching Troy and Illinois with relative ease in their first two games. Now, they draw a team they're familiar with and have had quite a bit of success against this season. With that being said, it's tough to beat a team three times, and the Vols are a tricky team to matchup against. Their defense is, by the numbers, one of the best in history. Even for a Kentucky team that can put up a lot of points with players like Koby Brea, it's hard to have a lot of confidence the 'Cats can put up a third win over Tennessee this season. Prediction: Tennessee 73, Kentucky 65 Tennessee vs. Kentucky channel, start time, streaming: Start time: 7:39 p.m. Eastern, 4:39 p.m. Pacific TV: TBS Live Stream: March Madness App Get more betting analysis and predictions at Sportsbook Wire.
