Ahlstrom concludes acquisition of Stevens Point facility in Wisconsin
Fibre-based speciality materials provider Ahlstrom has concluded the acquisition of the Stevens Point facility in Wisconsin, US. The Stevens Point facility offers advanced solutions for food and consumer packaging, as well as e-commerce applications. Last month, Ahlstrom signed a binding agreement with Pixelle Specialty Solutions to acquire the plant. The new site contributes finishing and coating technologies that complement Ahlstrom's existing capabilities. The acquisition also includes a portfolio of premium-quality products and established customer relationships, supported by the expertise of the facility's 260 employees.
