This Cheboygan Realtor is helping feed families — and getting noticed
Roger Kopernik, broker and owner of Exit Realty Premier in Cheboygan, has been honored with the 2025 Good Neighbor Award by the Water Wonderland Board of Realtors.
The award recognizes Realtors who have shown exceptional commitment to community service, according to a community announcement.
Kopernik was selected for his dedication to The Salvation Army of Cheboygan. For the past decade, he has led Exit Realty Premier's annual food drive, raising funds and collecting donations to ensure local families have access to essential food supplies. This year, Kopernik doubled his financial contribution, further demonstrating his commitment to fighting food insecurity.

"The advocacy and support we've received from Roger have been nothing short of amazing," said Natalie MacClugage, business manager of The Salvation Army of Cheboygan County. "Whether raising awareness for our programs or assisting with Emergency Disaster Services during the Northern Michigan ice storm, he is always willing to help. Roger truly cares for our community, and we appreciate him more than he'll ever know."
As the award recipient, Kopernik will receive a $500 grant to donate to the charity of his choice.
