Saudi Health Ministry to Launch 5th Annual 'Walk 30' at Sports Boulevard
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Friday the launch of the fifth 'Walk 30' event on April 26 at Sands Sports Park on Riyadh's Sports Boulevard. The event partners with the Sports Boulevard Foundation to promote walking as a daily habit. Launched under the 'Live Well' initiative, 'Walk 30' is Saudi Arabia's largest walking event since 2019. Participants aim to walk 150 minutes weekly to prevent health issues and boost longevity. Moreover, the event also ranks as the Kingdom's top digital health challenge. Over one million users tracked progress via the Sehhaty app, fostering community engagement. Sports Boulevard Foundation CEO Jayne McGivern praised the partnership. She highlighted its role in promoting sustainable sports environments and public health.
