Mukesh Khanna launches Paheli Geet 2 honouring India's freedom fighters
Veteran actor
, best known as Shaktimaan, has launched the second song of his patriotic album Krantikari Paheli, titled Paheli Geet 2 in Mumbai. The track pays tribute to India's freedom fighters, carrying a powerful message for children and youth.

Presented in the form of riddles, it highlights defining moments and heroic deeds of great revolutionaries.
At the launch, Khanna was joined by lyricist
, composer Surya Rajkamal, choreographer Pappu Khanna and other members of the creative team.
In the video, Khanna poses riddles to children about revolutionaries like Chandrashekhar Azad, Veer Savarkar, Mangal Pandey, and Ashfaqullah Khan. The first song in the series celebrated Rani Laxmibai, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, and Turram Khan.
Ending the video with a heartfelt appeal, Khanna urged the younger generation to remember the names and sacrifices of India's heroes, stressing that 'over 7,000 revolutionaries deserve to be officially recognized as martyrs.' He also spoke about his ongoing Jai Hind campaign, through which he has consistently urged the government to grant martyr status to these freedom fighters. 'Songs like these are essential to educate children about our glorious history and the sacrifices made at such a young age for the nation,' he said.
Mukesh Khanna is also known as the Bheeshmapitamah of television, because he played the iconic character in BR Chopra's Mahabharat on TV. The character was portrayed so well that people still remember it. In an earlier interview, he said, "It was a wonderful experience playing that role."
