Two-day Krishna Janmastami celebrations at ISKCON Mangaluru from Aug. 15
The ISKCON Mangaluru will hold two-day 'Krishna Janmastami' celebrations at the Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, PVS Kalajunj, on August 15 and 16. Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, ISKCON Mangaluru president Gunakara Ramadasa said, 'Mahabhishekam, bhajans and spiritual discourses will be held at the Mandir on August 15 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.'. From 1 p.m. till midnight on August 16, there will be cultural programmes, devotional music presentation and midnight arati at the Sharada Vidyalaya grounds in Kodialbail, he said. Mr. Ramadasa said interested vloggers can register their names with the organisation and create vlogs and reels about Janmastami. Children from all age groups can register their names for fancy dress, Krishna-themed drawings, music, and quiz competitions. The food stalls, including the one of ISKCON, will sell authentic prasadam and delicacies, he said. For registration people can contact: 7259862393/9741932183, said a release.
