Live on Instagram, history-sheeter claims killing fellow villager
Alwar: Four assailants on a bike pumped several bullets into a liquor shop owner, Sunil alias Tulli, who had come to collect tailored clothes from a shop on Bansur bypass road in Kotputli district Tuesday.
Sunil was critically injured and was taken to Bansur sub-district hospital, from where he was referred to Kotputli district hospital. He died on the way.
Sunil had survived two previous bids on his life in the past two years. A history-sheeter named Krishna Pehalwan took responsibility for the killing by going live on social media (Instagram) and also threatened to kill another person.
Sunil, who ran a liquor shop in his village Balawas, had an ongoing feud with Krishna Pehalwan from the same village.
Pehalwan, a history-sheeter, had been arrested by police before and had served several years in jail.

The deceased's father, Raghuveer Yadav, stated that his son had been receiving death threats from Pehelwan for three years, and there had been two previous attacks and shootings. When asked for protection, police claimed they had arrested the accused and sent him to jail, and could do nothing more. Bansur SHO Surendra Malik stated that the Bansur DSP has taken possession of a CCTV's DVR that captured the entire incident.
A team has been dispatched to search for the accused and they will be arrested soon, he added.
