BJP secured 79 seats via fraud: Kruparani
Former Union Minister Killi Kruparani on Monday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured 79 Parliament seats through manipulation of voters' list and other electoral frauds during the 2024 general elections. Addressing the media in Tekkali, she said that the INDIA bloc could have formed the government had the elections been conducted in a free and fair manner. She criticised the Election Commission of India (ECI) for maintaining a stoic silence despite Opposition leader in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi presenting evidence of voter theft through a PowerPoint presentation. She urged the Supreme Court of India to take up the issue on suo moto to protect Indian democracy. Ms. Kruparani also accused the YSRCP party of not responding to the vote of theft issue out of fear as it did not want to antagonise the BJP inviting legal trouble. Replaying to query from reporters, Ms. Kruparani clarified that she was not interested in the post of president of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) and lauded the hard work and efforts of the current PCC president Y.S. Sharmila Reddy. Former PCC president Pedada Parameswara Rao, party senior leader Killi Rammohana Rao and others were also present.

TDP, YSRCP have failed A.P.: Ex-Union Minister
Former Union Minister and Congress Party senior leader Killi Kruparani alleged that both the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) MPs have failed to exert pressure on the Union government in regards to implementing Special Category Status (SCS) and other statutory assurances outlined in the AP Reorganization Act-2014 which was enacted by the then UPA government to protect the interests of residual Andhra Pradesh. Addressing the media on Monday, Ms Kruparani said, 'All the 25 Lok Sabha members and 11 Rajya Sabha members from Andhra Pradesh have 'completely surrendered' to the Modi-led government. This is evident with with their silence in Parliament over key issues such as SCS, ₹70,000 crore package, financial assistance for Amaravati construction and other projects.' She charged the TDP led NDA government of failing to meet the expectations of people and instead prioritising and focussing only on political vendetta to settle scores with the YSRCP. Ms. Kruparanni sarcastically asked the government to construct more jails since many leaders, officials were expected to be jailed in future. The Congress Party senior leader Gadem Venkata Trinnadha Rao, Killi Ramamohana Rao, Rella Suresh and others were present.
