Rape Victim's Intestines Had Come Out After Assault: Madhya Pradesh Police
Khandwa: One of the accused arrested for the gangrape of a tribal woman allegedly put his hand inside her body after the assault following which her intestines came out and she died of excessive bleeding in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, police said on Monday. "No wooden rod has been recovered from the crime scene so far. She died of excessive bleeding," Khargone range Deputy Inspector General of Police Siddharth Bahuguna and Kalwa police station in-charge inspector Jagdeesh Sindya told PTI over phone. Mr Sindya is the investigation officer of the case, in which two accused -- identified only as Hari (40) and Sunil (35) -- have been arrested by police. Hari put his hand inside her body after the sexual assault following which her intestines came out. He tried to put back the intestines, but could not do so, said the in-charge inspector, citing the accused person's statement to police. Her intestines had come out, while the uterus remained unharmed, he added. "We are piecing together evidence and video recording them. We are trying to get remand of the two accused to recover a blood-soaked bed roll from the cot from the scene," Sindya said. The initial post-mortem report is awaited, the police officer said. The accused have been charged under sections 66 (causing death), 70 (1) (gangrape) and 103 (1) (murder punishment) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The gangrape took place on Friday night and the woman died the next day (Saturday) at around 2.30 pm from excessive bleeding. The crime took place under the limits of the Roshni police outpost, about 90km off the district headquarters, police said. The victim and the accused belong to the Kurku tribal community, the official said.

The postmortem report of the Madhya Pradesh tribal woman, who was gangraped by two men, revealed extreme brutality inflicted on the victim with her intestine protruding and injuries to her genitals. The 45-year-old woman died of grievous injuries and excessive bleeding after being gangraped by two men she knew to the postmortem report, accessed exclusively by India Today TV, the woman was brutally assaulted and died due to excessive bleeding. "Her intestines had come out, while the uterus remained unharmed. However, there were genital injury marks," Dr Seema Sood, head of postmortem investigation and forensic expert, horrific incident took place in Khandwa district on Friday night when the woman went to the house of the accused, Hari Palvi (35), after attending a wedding where they were joined by Sunil Dhurve (26). The three of them got drunk, following which the two men gang-raped mother discovered the woman in an injured state the next morning, following which she informed the woman's family. Later, the woman told her family members that she was sexually assaulted by both Sunil and Hari. She started excessively bleeding following the sexual assault and reportedly died due to Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rajesh Raghuvanshi had said that prima facie, it appears that the woman was severely assaulted, and she bled to to police, the woman had two children, and she and the accused belonged to the Kurku tribal community. She died around 2 pm on Saturday, following which the police were the accused have been booked on charges of gangrape and murder under sections 103(1), 66 and 70(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya to the incident, the Congress said that Madhya Pradesh was turning into the country's "rape capital" and said that Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had failed to handle the responsibility of law and order as the Home Minister. Tribal woman gangraped in MP's Khandwa: ‘Severely assaulted, bled to death'

The police have arrested the two accused in connection with the incident that occurred on Saturday under the limits of the Roshni police outpost in Khalwa tehsil, about 90 km off the district headquarters, an official said. Khandwa Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rajesh Raghuvanshi said that prima facie, it appears that the woman was severely assaulted and she bled to death. "A post-mortem is being conducted at the Khandwa district hospital under the close watch of forensic experts. The report will reveal further details," he said. The deceased woman has two children, and she and the accused belonged to the Kurku tribal community, the official said. According to the police, the woman and the accused attended a wedding on Friday, and the victim's family brought her home from the house of one of the accused men on Saturday morning. She died around 2 pm, following which the police were notified, the ASP said. The accused had been inebriated when they committed the brutal crime, police stated.
