Elvish Yadav On Turning Down Khatron Ke Khiladi: ‘Scared Of Crocodiles'
Last Updated: Elvish's gang member Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu, recently emerged as the winner of Roadies XX, defeating Hartaaj Singh from Gang Prince Narula. Elvish Yadav, the influencer and reality show alumnus, emerged as the Winning Gang Leader in the adventure show, Roadies XX. Apart from that, he has also appeared in a number of reality shows. As he continues to entertain the audiences with his wit and humour, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner recently opened up about his decision to choose reality shows over fiction and if he will ever be part of Rohit Shetty's stunt-based show, Khatron Ke Khiladi. Speaking to Pinkvilla, Elvish shared he prefers doing reality shows as there is no script, and even mentioned that he will do reality shows if offered. However, when asked if he would ever participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi, he replied, 'Khatron Ke Khiladi ye toh bohot bada show hai. Nahi (laughs). (Khatron Ke Khiladi is a big show. No)." Elaborating on his statement, he said, 'Magarmach hai na usme. Har baari mai batata hu. Magarmach se muje bohot darr lagta hai. Maine unko bhi bola ki aapke show mai magarmach ko rakho ya muje rakhlo (There are Crocodiles in the show. I'm scared of them. I even told them earlier that either you keep crocodiles in the show or me)." When asked if he was ever approached by the makers of Khatron Ke Khiladi, he agreed and said, 'Haa unhone muje pucha tha. Magarmach hai. Meri mummy mana karti hai magarmach ke sath rehne. (Yes, they asked me. There are crocodiles. My mother warned me not to be with crocodiles)." Furthermore, speaking about whether he would return as a Gang leader in the forthcoming season of Roadies, he said, 'Bilkul karenge. Bohot acha show hai. Itna bada show kon mana karega. Ek do sharto ke sath. (Of course, I'll do. It is a very big show. Who would say no? But, with one or two clauses)." Recently, several reports suggested that Elvish might be participating in the forthcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi, which is expected to go on air in July this year. Apart from him, other celebs who have been approached for the show are Munawwar Faruqui, Karan Kundrra, Isha Malviya, Gulki Joshi, Avinash Mishra and others. Apart from this, Elvish has appeared in shows like Bigg Boss OTT 2 and Laughter Chefs: Unlimited Entertainment Season 2. First Published:

Who is Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu? Check Elvish Yadav connection for the winner of MTV Roadies Double Cross
Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, once returned to Roadies Double Cross as a wild card entry, but his journey from there on has been packed with winning action, leading him to emerge as the winner of the show. As soon as Gullu returned to the show, he was embroiled in a controversy. A part of Elvish Yadav's gang, Gullu was eliminated. He returned to the show as a wildcard in Gautam Gulati's gang. However, when given a choice to double-cross his gang leader after winning the ticket to the finale, he went back to Elvish's gang, leaving Gautam. Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu or Gullu Boxer, is a content creator from Gurugram, Haryana. According to Stars Unfolded, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (IHMCT), Pune, in 2022. Coming from a modest background, Kushal explored several ventures—including co-founding a café—but none gained significant traction. Eventually, he turned to content creation, where his raw humour and relatability began to resonate with audiences online. In 2019, he had also walked into the MTV Roadies audition as a fake sheikh. But at that time, he was nervous and underconfident. He transformed his personality and returned to the show as a whole new individual in 2025 and ended up winning the show. In a winning statement, Kushal Tanwar said he went through the Roadies journey 'all alone,' with no guiding hand or one to lift him. 'Winning MTV Roadies Double Cross wasn't just a title, it was a silent scream finally heard. There was no support, no guiding hand, no one to lift me when I was down. I went through it all alone,' he said. He said winning Roadies is more than just a trophy for him. 'It's a symbol for every person who's ever felt alone, who's ever been told they're not enough. I walked this path by myself, but I never gave up. And that's what this victory is: not fame, not glory -- but proof that even when you have nothing, you can still become everything.' His gang leader, Elvish Yadav, was also all praises for Tanwar, and said, 'From Day 1, I saw fire in Gullu. He didn't just win tasks, he won hearts. His journey defines.'

Ranvijay Singh hosted Roadies XX has finally come to an end with Elvish Yadav's gang member Kushal Tanwar emerging as the winner. Kushal took home prize money of Rs 10 lakhs and a Hero Kaizma bike. This was Elvish's first season as a mentor on Roadies. Right from his audition, Kushal Tanwar showcased a spark that impressed the judges Elvish Yadav, Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula, Rhea Chakraborty and Gautam Gulati. Seen as a pretty strong contender, Kushal was also evicted by his team members. However, he returned as a wild card contestant on the show and joined Gautam's team. And after winning the ticket to the finale, Kushal decided to join forces with his former Gang Leader, Elvish, ultimately paving the way for his victory. There was no support, no guiding hand, no one to lift me when I was down. I went through it all alone. This win is more than a trophy. Being the winning gang leader, Elvish Yadav said, 'From Day 1, I saw fire in Gullu (Kushal Tanwar). He didn't just win tasks, he won hearts. His journey defines what Roadies Double Cross is all about — unpredictability, loyalty, and passion. I couldn't have asked for a better gang member in my debut season!' The 20th season of Roadies saw betrayals at every turn—both among contestants and gang leaders. While the audience appreciated the show's unique concept, it was the constant clashes between gang leaders like Neha Dhupia and Gautam Gulati, or Elvish Yadav and Prince Narula, that grabbed headlines. Even contestants openly disrespecting their leaders sparked major discussions on social media.
