CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Shapiro Administration has announced that three more federally-funded charging stations for electric vehicles are opening in Pennsylvania, and one is in Clearfield County. In total, Pennsylvania now has 11 stations that have been funded by the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program. Since opening, the stations have provided over 13,000 charging sessions, which powered 1.5 million miles of driving for those cars. It's estimated that Pennsylvania has reduced CO2 emissions by over 700,000 pounds. Drivers of hybrids, electric vehicles will see new charges in Pennsylvania Here's where you can find the new stations: Kwik Fill in Kylertown, Clearfield County along Interstate 80 (Exit 133), Pilot Flying J Travel Center in Mill Hall, Clinton County along I-80 (Exit 173), Love's Travel Stop in Mifflinville, Columbia County along I-80 (Exit 242). 'Governor Shapiro has set a clear directive to get things done for Pennsylvanians, and the PennDOT team is meeting that,' Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Secretary Mike Carroll said. 'We've been a national leader in the NEVI program, and we will continue to get stuff done for the people of Pennsylvania.'
