Is Trey coming back? Sex and the City star Kristin Davis hints her character Charlotte could be 'running into' her ex-husband on And Just Like That

Kristin Davis has revealed that there's a possibility that one of Sex and the City's most beloved ex-husbands could be making a comeback. The 60-year-old was quizzed on what characters she'd like to see appear on the spin off of the iconic 1990s and noughties series, And Just Like That, by Stellar Magazine this week. The actress was quick to name Kyle MacLachlan, who played Trey MacDougal, the husband - and later ex-husband - of her character, Charlotte York. MacLachlan, 66, appeared on Sex And The City between 2000 and 2002. 'I feel like there could be many scenarios where [Trey's return] could work' Kristin explained. 'I feel like in New York, you do run into people from your past pretty frequently.' She added: 'It would totally make sense that Trey and Charlotte would be at the same events or at the same restaurants. 'I don't know if that would be enough for them to explore their relationship but it would be fun to do it, if we could'. Trey and Charlotte had an unhappy marriage, leading to a tense divorce - but through that process, Charlotte met her soulmate, lawyer Harry Goldenblatt, played by Evan Handler, who became her second husband. Handler continues to appear in the spin off And Just Like That as well as starring in both Sex And The City films. The is however one storyline from Sex and the City that Kristen couldn't stand - and even tried to get out of filming it. Davis recalled the plotline during a recent episode of her podcast Are You a Charlotte? She explained that during the sixth season of the show, the script called for York and her on screen husband Handler to come down with a bout of bad food poisoning. The pair were supposed to be out at a fancy dinner, enjoying dishes like French cheese, only for the both of them to then get hit with food poisoning and end up on the toilet. 'I just hated that storyline so much,' Davis admitted on the podcast. Davis disliked it so much that she even went to the episode's writers, Elisa Zuritsky and Julia Rottenberg, and questioned why they had to do this. 'They were like, "It's so funny"' Davis remembered. 'I think it was based on a story where someone went to France and had a similar experience with their decadent cheeses, which we're not used to here,' she continued. 'I didn't like that. I didn't want to lay on the floor of the bathroom with Evan in stained T-shirts. Ick.' However, the two ended up acting out the scene, and it made the cut on the 14th episode of season six. Sex and The City ended that season in 2004, but was revived in 2021 as the ladies returned for a spinoff, called And Just Like That, about life in their 50s. The spinoff stars Sarah Jessica Parker Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Kristin Davis as Charlotte York, and Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes. Samantha Jones, who was played by Kim Cattrall in the original series, did not participate in the revival. However, it looks like there will be some new characters for fans to look forward to meeting this year, as And Just Like That is set to premiere its third season on HBO sometime this year. During an on-stage talk at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia late last year, Parker teased some new additions to the cast. 'There is growth with new faces,' Parker said, per Variety. 'Carrie has a wonderful storyline,' she continued. 'The story takes some big swings and we fold some big ideas into those big swings. Some of the male characters are back, and there are some new men.' She also shared that the third season took over seven months to shoot and involved 'crazy long hours.' 'It feels really big, really robust and exciting,' Parker shared.

Walton Goggins is Back in New Teasers for Fallout Season 2

Walton Goggins has been having a stellar run the past few months with The White Lotus and The Righteous Gemstones , and now he's set to come back to the Wasteland as the Ghoul in the next season of Fallout . Thanks to Amazon Upfront, we have a bunch of new promos for the series including some mock-ads with Goggins' Cooper Howard as well as a teaser for the Ghoul and Lucy (Ella Purnell) arriving at New Vegas. Check this out: It's also been confirmed that the series is expected to premiere this December. With Fallout Season 1 premiering last year, it's kind of surprise that we're going to get the follow-up this year. With The Last of Us and Rings of Power taking several years inbetween seasons, it's great to have a high-budget sci-fi show actually consistently release a new season yearly. So far, we know that Lucy and the Ghoul have teamed up to go after Hank MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan) who has been revealed to be part of the brain trust that caused the Nuclear War that destroyed the Earth. We don't know how much of New Vegas is going to be the setting, but fans know that place is going to be filled with all kinds of kooky characters and factions—plus some messed up Vaults with all kinds of experiments inside them. As for Maximus (Aaron Moten), it's kind of hinted that he's going to be promoted within the Brotherhood of Steel, and it's possible they could be coming to New Vegas as well and this could be Max's chance to run into Lucy again. Catch the second season of Fallout when it comes to Amazon Prime Video this December. Hopefully we can expect the third season by 2026 as well.

Walton Goggins Commemorates Wrap for Season 2 of Fallout

Walton Goggins has been having a phenomenal run recently, with The White Lotus and The Righteous Gemstones having standout performances from him. Now it's been announced that the second season of Fallout has wrapped, and they shared a video of Goggins removing his Ghoul makeup. Check this out: Achievement unlocked! Fallout Season 2 has wrapped production. — FALLOUT⚡️ (@falloutonprime) May 8, 2025 By the end of the first season, the show had the Ghoul and Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) teaming up to go after Lucy's dad (Kyle MacLachlan)—who is implied to have run off to New Vegas. We don't know if the second season is going to take place completely in that location, but a lot of fans are already excited for which characters the series is going to be introducing. As for Maximus (Aaron Moten), it's implied that he's going to be raised up the ranks of the Brotherhood of Steel, and seeing as how they're a major presence in the world of Fallout , it's possible that he could just find himself assigned to a troop going to New Vegas. With the full season drop, a lot of fans were concerned that Amazon didn't have enough faith in the Fallout series, but it turned out to be one of the best-reviewed shows to ever come out on the platform. We don't know for how long they plan to run the show, but after they cancelled Westworld , I just want Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy to get the freedom to make whatever they want Fallout to be. No release date has been announced for Fallout Season 2, but hopefully it comes to Prime Video sometime next year.

Kristin Davis reveals Kyle MacLachlan turned down And Just Like That...

Kristin Davis has talked about a scrapped And Just Like That... storyline where Charlotte runs into her ex-husband, Trey. In an episode on her Are You A Charlotte? podcast, the Sex And The City star shared the news of a potential storyline for the offshoot series that would mark the reappearance of her ex, played by Kyle MacLachlan. "I loved working with Kyle MacLachlan so incredibly much," she began, saying the Twin Peaks star was only supposed to be on the show for five episodes but ended up staying. "We all really just fell madly in love with him and he had to stay." She continued, "There was an idea that Trey/Kyle would come on in And Just Like That... and then it didn't happen, and so Kyle and I had to talk about it 'cause I was kind of mad at him, I said 'Why didn't you come on? We wanted you to come on.'" And he said, 'I just wanted it to be amazing'." Davis said that once MacLachlan explained his point of view, she understood it. "When you have played such a wonderful part in the past that people have such a great memory of, and it was so special as a work experience, you want it to kind of stay in this glorious place, and I think he just didn't want there to be kind of a sad note to the end. So I get that."
