The buzz around Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi season 2, has been intensifying with each passing day. The show which marks the comeback of actress and politician Smriti Irani to the screens, is expected to go on-air from the date it originally started. Sources close to the Times of India TV informed us that the show is expected to telecast from the same date, it first went on air in 2000. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi season 2 will go on-air from July 3 and will apparently also feature legendary actor and producer Ektaa Kapoor's father Jeetendra . Recently, Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhayay were spotted at Ektaa Kapoor's residence, reportedly to celebrate her birthday. According to reports, the makers are planning to feature 150 episodes in the upcoming season. Ekta Kapoor's popular TV show, which was a hit 25 years ago, originally aired from 2000 to 2008. Now, marking its 25th anniversary, Ekta Kapoor has announced a brand new season for viewers. Actors like Mouni Roy, Karishma Tanna, Shakti Anand, Sandeep Baswana from the original show have also been roped in for the new season. Ektaa and Smriti have been close friends for many years.
