Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Reminds Fans Beauty Lies In Self-Worth: "It Is Innate, Not Measured In Likes"

Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is the brand ambassador of L'oreal Paris, has unveiled the latest chapter of the brand's global Lessons of Worth series. In the ad, the 51-year-old emphasised how she refuses to let likes or social media chatter define her self-worth, urging her followers to take the same approach. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Message On Self-Worth Social media has become an integral part of everyone's life and has an impact on people's self-worth. Urging people not to pay too much attention to social media approval, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared that one should never measure their worth by what others are saying. The Devadas actor says in the video, "I'm worth it, but what really decides that? The kind of pictures are posted? The number of likes? Or is it the comments on social media? We have given such power to these things. The power to own our worth." Showing her concerns as a mother, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan emphasised that this is a 'grave' concern. "There's not much difference between social media and social pressure. As a woman and a mother, it's a matter of grave concern to think about the power it can have over young minds. Frankly, even impressionable adults," shared the actor. Asking people to stop looking for self-worth from somewhere else, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan added, "This cannot go on. We must make a choice. Let's not go searching for our self-worth elsewhere, certainly not on social media. Worth is innate." View this post on Instagram A post shared by L'Oréal Paris Official (@lorealparis) Fans Love The Message Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's heartfelt message resonated with her fans, who responded with love. One fan wrote, "She appears once in a blue moon and bam!! Takes the world by storm. Love it, Aishwarya." Another fan commented, "Such a powerful message - it touched my heart deeply." An Instagram user commented, "I wish half of the world understood what she is saying." "That's beauty with brains! Today's kids are unaware of who they are. Miss World for a reason," wrote another fan. "Wow, so powerful and beautiful," said another user.

The six-time Juno Award winner, Album of the Year winner, and Billboard Canada Women of the Year winner has added another bullet point to the list of achievements: a L'Oréal Paris ambassador. The Montreal-born, now Paris-based singer has been named a face of the global beauty brand in both Canada and France. It's a dual-country representation that Cardin says is a proper fit. 'I'm Québécoise — I grew up in Canada, but I now live in France, so it just made sense for me to be an ambassador for both places,' Cardin explains. 'I think what they have in common — aside from the language, of course — is that both have this 'less-is-more' approach when it comes to beauty.' Where Cardin says Parisians are known for a 'chic, effortless vibe,' the style in Quebec embraces a more natural approach. 'So even though fashion and beauty trends differ between the two, that understated, natural approach is something they share,' she says. 'And it's definitely something I connect with.' The 99 Nights singer says the brand role is more than just a business move, it's a continuation of a relationship with a company that has long played a role in her life. 'I grew up watching my mom, my grandmothers and my sister do their makeup, so L'Oréal has always been present in some way,' Cardin says. 'Beyond that, I really connect with the brand's values. L'Oréal has always spoken about feminism, female empowerment and inner beauty — and those are values I deeply believe in.' The singer-songwriter says she's 'very proud' to take on the new role. Canadian singer Charlotte Cardin has been named an ambassador for L'Oreal Paris. Photo by L'Ore´al Paris As for her personal approach to beauty — with her flawless complexion, blue eyes and big smile, Cardin has become somewhat of a darling in fashion and beauty, too — the star leans in to the less-is-more approach that suits both Canada and France. 'Makeup, for me, has always been about enhancing my features rather than hiding behind anything,' she notes. 'I think makeup is such a creative, beautiful thing, and even though I'm not the most skilled or creative when it comes to doing my makeup, I've always felt like the best version of myself when I use just a little bit to enhance certain features.' She admits, though, that she arrived at that approach as part of a personal beauty evolution. 'Coming from a modelling background, I've had experiences where people used my face and my body as their canvas,' Cardin says. 'And while some of those experiences were eye-opening and creatively interesting, it never fully felt right to me.' When the now-30-year-old stopped modelling at age 19 she recalls feeling empowered to ' reclaim the narrative of my own body and beauty' and to use beauty to tell her story — her way. 'Rather than being a vessel for someone else's,' she says. 'I think my simple, classic approach to beauty and the fact that I don't wear a lot of makeup probably comes from that — it's my way of keeping it authentic and connected to who I am.' Cardin points to the Plump Ambition Gloss by L'Oréal Paris in the shade Worth It as her personal go-to. 'It's so natural,' she says of the sheer, peachy pink shade. 'It gives that kind of kissed-lip look, with a nice shine, but without any stickiness. Plus, it's plumping and has this little tingling effect on the lips, which feels amazing.' Her long, honey-brown locks are the source of admiration — and envy — for many a beauty fan. 'For my hair, I really try to stay away from heat tools,' Cardin dishes. 'I don't use blow dryers or irons unless it's for a special event and my hairdresser is styling it. Usually, I just let it air-dry naturally and let it do its thing. 'That's honestly how I've managed to keep it as healthy as possible over the years.' Aharris@ Read More Vancouver Canucks Sports Betting Junior Hockey Local News Soccer

Recently having become a mother, welcoming her daughter Palma in March, Michelle Keegan took to Instagram to share an array of enchanting snaps from a sophisticated dinner hosted by the beauty giant. Her fans didn't hesitate to shower her with praise, declaring her "beautiful" and "stunning". Furthermore, she offered her followers a glimpse into her personal evening routine, revealing her use of a reasonably priced skin-brightening serum that's on sale at less than half price. Her Instagram story, adorned with the words "Day 1 done! Ready for skincare and bed", displayed the L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Hyaluronic Acid Replumping Tissue Mask, coming in at £5.99, alongside the L'Oréal Paris Age Defying Serum Le Duo. From superstar gigs to cosy pubs, find out What's On in Wales by signing up to our newsletter here . Notably, this ingenious serum ordinarily costs £37.99, but is available on Amazon at a 54% reduction, priced merely at £17.39 for a transient period, the Mirror highlights. Alternatively, LookFantastic is offering a significant discount on the famous Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum, currently at £66.75, reduced from its regular price of £89. This top-selling serum garners accolades for being akin to "botox in a bottle" as per enthusiastic user reviews, reports the Liverpool Echo. This all-encompassing serum features a dual chamber, one harbours a collagen peptide booster and the other is brimming with vitamins B3 and C to enhance radiance. Together, they're designed to firm, plump, and illuminate the skin. L'Oréal's trials suggest it can diminish the look of five years' worth of wrinkles in just eight weeks. Michelle isn't alone in her admiration for this potent serum; it has amassed an array of five-star evaluations across the web, from high street favourite Boots to online giants Lookfantastic and Amazon. A contented Lookfantastic shopper exclaimed: "My skin is glowing when I wear this! Even once you have your foundation and bronzer on you can still see the glow, love this product!". Aged 78, a Boots reviewer observed significant differences after use, remarking: "The best skin care I have used. I'm 78 and have seen and felt the difference since using this," before affirming continued use. Yet another consumer labelled it 'game changer', noting a swift transformation: "This product made a visible difference to my 60 year old skin within days. I went from tired to glowing in about three days." Alia Bhatt is a posh, perfect Flapper Girl with a twist in stunning 2nd look for Cannes Film Festival in Armani Prive

Alia Bhatt is launching one banger look after another for her Cannes Film Festival debut year. On Friday night, Alia attended a L'Oreal party with a few of the biggest names of Hollywood and sparkled the brightest among them. Alia turned up in a bejewelled Armani Prive dress. The off shoulder number had a glittering top and a chainmail texture to it. She paired the look with a gorgeous headwear that cascaded over her right ear. The entire look, while not a complete recreation, was reminiscent of the Flapper Girl era of the 1920 America. Flapper girl fashion took off between the two wars. It symbolized rebellion, freedom, and a break from tradition. Characterized by dropped waistlines, loose silhouettes, and shorter hemlines, flapper dresses allowed women to move freely, often adorned with fringe, beads, and sequins that shimmered on the dance floor. These bold young women also sported bobbed haircuts, cloche hats, and dark, dramatic makeup—smoky eyes, rouged cheeks, and cupid's bow lips. The flapper look was more than a style statement; it was a cultural shift that embraced independence, jazz, and a modern attitude toward femininity. At the event, Alia was joined by the likes of Viola Davis, Gillian Anderson, Simone Ashley, Jane Fonda and Elle Fanning. Check out their photos here: A post shared by L'Oréal Paris Official (@lorealparis) Alia attended the screening of The Mastermind on Friday evening at the Cannes Film Festival. This marked her first appearance at the fest as the official L'Oreal brand ambassador. Before her, even Aishwarya Rai represented the brand at two film screenings. Alia is married to Ranbir Kapoor and has daughter Raha with him. She was last seen in Jigra. Her next release will be Alpha with YRF and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War. Ranbir and Vicky Kaushal also star with her in the latter.
