TNROA members protest pressing for demands
Members of Tamil Nadu Revenue Officers Association (TNROA) on Tuesday staged a protest in front of the Madurai Collectorate urging the State government to fulfil their charter of demands.
The members were led by TNROA Madurai district president T.M. Gopi, treasurer L. Muthu Pandian and central executive member Ramkumar.
They said that the employees were finding it difficult to implement the various welfare schemes as they were burdened with an additional workload.
They said that the recently launched 'Ungaludan Stalin' and other welfare schemes had led to an added burden. The implementation of the welfare schemes should be streamlined, volunteers should be included and basic infrastructure should be provided, they said.
The members said that all the existing vacancies in various posts should be filled so that there was no deadline pressure on the employees and sufficient time should be provided to them to ensure the proper implementation of the schemes, they said.
