Three of the Most Wanted Drug Traffickers Involved in Crimes Including the Murder of Soldiers Killed
Wednesday, 06 August 2025 The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: On 6/8/2025, while the LAF was pursuing a vehicle carrying the wanted individuals (AA.M.Z.), known as 'Abu Salleh,' ( known as 'Al Sultan,' and (F.Z.) in the Shrawneh area – Baalbek, an armed clash broke out between them and LAF forces. The confrontation resulted in the deaths of all three men, who were among the country's most dangerous and prominent drug traffickers. They were also wanted for the killing of soldiers, in addition to crimes including kidnapping, shooting at LAF checkpoints and patrols, armed robbery, and theft. Over the years, the wanted individuals had widely promoted drugs and their harmful effects in various Lebanese regions, drawing thousands — especially youth — into criminal activity. The LAF had previously conducted several raids to arrest them, during which soldiers were injured. It should be noted that reports claiming the LAF targeted the residences or relatives of the wanted individuals, or that clashes occurred between them and residents are false.

Arrival of a Czech Plane Carrying Food Supplies as a Donation to the LAF
Tuesday, 05 August 2025 The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: A Czech plane carrying food supplies, offered as a donation from the Czech authorities to the LAF, arrived at Rafic Hariri International Airport. The donation was received in the presence of the representative of the Acting LAF Commander, Major General Hassan Audi, and the Czech Military Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Stanislav Vasek.

Raids and Arrests of Individuals for Various Crimes, Including Arms Trafficking and Gunfire
Monday, 04 August 2025 The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: A unit of the LAF, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, raided the residence of citizen (A.T.) in the town of Shmestar - Baalbek and arrested him for firing at a person and injuring him. Weapons and military ammunition were seized from him. Additionally, units of the LAF, each supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, raided the residences of wanted individuals in the areas of Jabal Al Baddawi, Nabi Yoush'a - Miniyeh, Mechmech - Jbeil, Brital, and Arsal - Tofiqiyeh - Baalbek, and Arqah and Al Owaynat - Akkar, arresting 8 citizens for committing several crimes, including arms trafficking and shooting. A quantity of weapons and military ammunition, as well as military equipment, were seized in their possession. Raids of Syrian refugee camps were also conducted in the area of Qab Elias - Zahle, resulting in the arrest of 19 Syrians for illegally roaming within Lebanese territory. The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the arrestees were initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.

Spy Device and Drone Belonging to the Israeli Enemy Found in the Outskirts of Aytaroun
Monday, 04 August 2025 The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: On August 4, 2025, as part of the ongoing engineering survey operations in the southern regions, a specialized military unit discovered a camouflaged spy device equipped with a camera and a drone belonging to the Israeli enemy on the outskirts of Aytaroun - Bint Jbeil. The unit worked to inspect and dismantle them. The LAF Command renews its call for citizens to stay away from suspicious objects, not to touch them, and to report them to the nearest military center for their safety.

The LAF Command Affirms No Tolerance for Security Breaches, Calls for Citizens' Awareness and Responsibility
Friday, 18 July 2025 The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: Lebanon is currently facing a series of exceptional circumstances, most notably the ongoing assaults and violations of national sovereignty by the Israeli enemy, in addition to challenges in maintaining internal security and controlling the borders, as well as the complex developments in the region. The Army will not allow any breaches of security or threats to civil peace. At the same time, it emphasizes that overcoming this phase requires the unity and solidarity of the Lebanese people, awareness of the seriousness of the situation, and a sense of responsibility, avoiding any actions that could have unforeseen repercussions on the security of the Lebanese.
