Affordable fashion brands in Dubai: 8 cheap clothing shops that are stylish
Whether you're a Dubai newbie or in need of some sartorial inspiration, it's wise to be clued up on the best places to update your wardrobe – ideally, without blowing your monthly budget on one white T-shirt. Luckily, the city is stuffed full of affordable and cheap clothing brands that look anything but. From global fashion retailers with great presence in the UAE to bargain brands, here are the best affordable fashion brands to shop that don't sacrifice on style. Affordable fashion brands available in Dubai ASOS Known for its commitment to new fashion trends (butter yellow, anyone?) and stocking over 850 cool brands at great prices, ASOS is still very popular in the UAE. There are plenty of bargains on the site, especially when there is a seasonal sale. We recommend ASOS Premier, which is Dhs200 for the year and will give you unlimited Express delivery on anything over Dhs150 (and standard delivery on all others). ASOS parcels tend to arrive after around 5/6 days with express delivery, and returns are completely free. @asos Brands for Less Brands for Less, like its name suggests, is the place to find big brands for a generous discount. Similar to global retailers like TJ Maxx or TK Maxx, Brands for Less is basically a big treasure hunt, but when you do find something good – the smug feeling is like no other. As well as securing a fashion bargain or two, they also stock homeware, toys, beauty and electronics. @brandsforless Choice With stores in Dubai Hills Mall and Mirdif City Centre and specialising in Middle Eastern elegance with a modern twist, Choice really does have plenty of, well, choice. If you need an excuse to check it out, they've just launched a big summer sale and it's full of fashion steals that are more than worthy of a spot in your wardrobe. @choicegcc LIMÉ Originating in Russia, LIMÉ is loved for its modern yet minimalist take on clothing and has a huge presence in the Middle East. Prices start at Dhs75 for tops and Dhs150 for dresses, despite trendy pieces that could almost pass for designer. Yes, please. As well as stores in Dubai Hills Mall and City Centre Mirdif, you can also shop LIMÉ online. @lime_official M&S Marks & Spencer is big in Dubai, and its high-quality and stylish pieces forever have us in a chokehold. From beach club-worthy co-ords to statement dresses, M&S has plenty of reasonably priced pieces that will beg you plenty of compliments. With nine locations in Dubai including Ibn Battuta Mall, Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Mall, there is a big chance you'll bump into one on your shopping trip. @marksandspencerme Namshi One of the UAE's best-known online high street retailers, Namshi stocks men's, women's and kids' fashion, with brands ranging from New Balance to Coach. The best part? There are plenty of affordable yet stylish options and brilliant seasonal sales. With next day delivery and plenty to choose from, the Namshi app is great to have in case of an emergency (read: a last-minute brunch invite). @namshi Next With stores in the UAE and a great online presence, Next UAE is surprisingly affordable, with prices starting at Dhs30 for good quality basics and Dhs100 for on-trend dresses. As well as cheap prices courtesy of Next's own brand, the retailer also stocks pricier brands from Hunza G to Veja and Aspinal of London. @next_arabia River Island With over four dedicated stores in Dubai, River Island is here to save our summer wardrobes without swallowing up our entire paycheck.
