Senior dies after car crash in Quebec City

A 76-year-old man is dead after his vehicle collided with a pole in Quebec City's La Cité-Limoilou neighbourhood on Sunday afternoon.
Police say they have reason to believe he may have fainted.
At 1:50 p.m., Quebec City police (SPVQ) officers were called to the intersection of 49e Street West and 2e Street to investigate the collision.
The man was taken to hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
The passenger in the vehicle escaped with minor injuries.
Investigators and forensic technicians are on site to analyze the cause and circumstances of the incident.
