Hersheypark Announces Halloween Partnership with Shaquille O'Neal
Hersheypark is taking its Halloween celebrations to the next level this year with a brand-new experience that combines thrills, flavor, and Shaquille O'Neal's larger-than-life personality. For the first time in the park's history, the popular indoor coaster Laff Trakk will receive a seasonal overlay, transforming into the Shaq-A-Licious Laff Trakk as part of Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights. The spooky seasonal fun runs for eight weekends, from September 12 through November 2, 2025.
Inspired by the hit Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies, introduced by The Hershey Company in fall 2024, this immersive ride experience brings Shaq's playful energy to life in a candy-coated adventure. Riders will be treated to glowing visuals, pumping audio, and bold graphic displays—all infused with Shaquille O'Neal's signature humor and voiceovers.
'We're taking the flavor and the fun of my Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies and blowing it up into a larger-than-life adventure,' said O'Neal. 'From the second you step inside, this ride brings non-stop energy and laughs.'
The partnership marks a first-of-its-kind coaster overlay at Pennsylvania's largest amusement park, blending Hersheypark's thrills with the sweet, over-the-top world of Shaq-A-Licious. Guests can expect glowing gummy-inspired theming, interactive surprises, and a soundtrack designed to keep the energy sky-high.
