Guided and self-guided tours available at Peche Island this summer
The City of Windsor is offering visitors both guided and self-guided tours at Peche Island this summer.
The Discover Peche Island Tour gives you the opportunity to learn more about the island's history. It will take about two hours in its entirety, with a one-hour guided tour around the island. A two-kilometre walk is available on the island's trail.
This option runs Fridays and Saturdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. until October. For this option, tickets are $30 per person and the tour will leave from Lakeview Park Marina.
If you prefer the self-guided option, you can explore all 86 acres of land at your own pace. These tours leave every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, also from Lakeview Park Marina, from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. The final return to the marina is at 2 p.m., weather permitting.
The self-guided tour is $10.75 per person.
