Jaipur's Lakshita Mahlawat brings honour to India with bronze medal at South Asia Athletics Meet, feted by Jayshree Periwal Group of Schools
Jaipur: Lakshita Mahlawat , a student of Jaipur, who won a bronze medal in the Under-18 discus throw competition of the South Asia Athletics Championship, was warmly welcomed and felicitated at her school. On this occasion, the chairperson of the school, Dr Jayshree Periwal and the Principal, Madhu Maini, honoured Lakshita with an award. Lakshita is a Standard XII student of Jayshree Periwal High School , Jaipur. Notably, this championship was recently held in Saudi Arabia, where Lakshita achieved this feat while representing India. By competing on this international stage, Lakshita brought pride to her school, her family, and the country. Speaking on the occasion, chairperson, Jayshree Periwal Group of Schools, Dr Jayshree Periwal said, "This is a moment of immense pride for all of us.
