One woman charged in two-car crash in Carteret County
CARTERET COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — The North Carolina State Highway Patrol received reports about a two-car crash in Carteret County Monday.
One driver, Lana Wanner, was riding west on NC 24 when she drove into the eastbound turn lane and hit a pickup truck head-on. The driver of the pickup truck and two passengers were taken to Carteret Health and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Wanner was also taken to Carteret Health and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. She was charged with DWI, careless and reckless driving, operating a vehicle with an open container of alcohol and expired registration.
