Musketeers land defenseman Landon Nycz and Phase II draft selection from Waterloo in exchange for Easton Hewson, four draft picks
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – The Musketeers continue to wheel and deal on the USHL trade market, making a monster move with Waterloo involving a package featuring four draft picks.
Sioux City has acquired defenseman Landon Nycz and a 2025 Phase II 10th round draft pick from Waterloo in exchange for defenseman Easton Hewson, a 2025 Phase I 3rd round pick, a 2025 Phase II 1st round pick and 3rd round pick, plus a 2026 Phase I 4th round selection.
Nycz, the 17-year-old UMass commit, has played in 86 games with Waterloo over two seasons. During his Black Hawks tenure, Nycz scored six goals and tallied 25 assists.
Hewson has appeared in 29 games for Sioux City, tallying three goals and four assists.
