The legal move comes amid a custody and restraining order case between the former couple, who split in 2024. DDG has requested the court to block his former partner Halle Bailey from travelling abroad with their son Halo, as per new court filings. The rapper has requested an emergency hearing to prevent the Last Holiday star from taking international trips with their 17-month-old son, specifically raising concerns over an upcoming vacation to Italy. In addition to the travel restriction, DDG is seeking a domestic violence restraining order. He alleges that Bailey has shown behavior that could pose emotional and psychological harm to their child, including what he describes as 'repeated threats of self-harm.' He further argues that international travel would remove the child from the court's jurisdiction and limit access to emergency protection if needed. The court had also issued a temporary restraining order then, requiring DDG to keep a distance of at least 100 yards from both Bailey and their son. Effective until June 4, the order recently expired. Additionally, Bailey requested that DDG be denied any visitation rights unless supervised. She asked that if visitation is granted, it should be limited to once a week for six hours under professional supervision while Halo is in Los Angeles. Further, he should not be allowed to take their son outside Los Angeles County. On May 13, the Little Mermaid star was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against her ex (real name Daryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) on behalf of herself and their 16-month-old son. In the legal documents, obtained by E! News, the 25-year-old alleged multiple cases of abuse. 'Throughout our relationship and continuing to date,' Halle wrote in the papers she filed seeking the order, 'Darryl has been and continues to be physically, verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive towards me.' E! News has reached out to DDG for comment and has not heard back. To begin, Halle detailed the alleged reputational damage she has faced as a direct result of the 'Moonwalking in Calabasas' rapper's actions. 'Whenever he wishes to cause upset,' the actress alleged, 'he starts badmouthing me to his several millions of fans. He claims I am withholding our son and that I am with other men. There have been numerous incidents of physical abuse, even before Halo was born.' And since their breakup, the Last Holiday actress recounted instances in which DDG, 27, allegedly called her profanities, deemed her 'evil,' and made 'last-minute demands to see Halo,' before proceeding to leave him with his mother for the majority of the visit. During one altercation in particular, which allegedly occurred when Halo was 13 months old, Halle said that DDG became agitated after she asked him to 'please set a schedule' around when he would be bring their son back. 'The next thing I knew,' she said, 'things got physical between us. We fought each other, wresting and tussling. At one point, Darryl was pulling my hair. He then slammed my face on the steering wheel, causing my tooth to get chipped. I then stopped fighting back as I was in a lot of pain. I wanted to get out of the car with Halo but was now stuck.' With her still in the car, she alleged that DDG quickly drove them to his house. 'I begged his family who were there to help me figure out a schedule with him,' she continued. 'They said just leave Halo and go. I left hysterical. I had bruises over my arms and a chipped tooth.' Halle Bailey, 'The Little Mermaid' actress, secured a restraining order in favour of her after she accused her ex-boyfriend, DDG, the American YouTuber and rapper, of repeated abuse. According to a Page Six report, Halle was granted a temporary order of protection against ex DDG, the father of her child, after she made claims that he physically abused her multiple times. The 25-year-old star also claimed that the first incident of abuse took place in January following their breakup in October 2024, reported Page Six. Halle Bailey made shocking claims about DDG As per Bailey's claims, DDG, a.k.a. Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr, became annoyed after he arrived at her home to pick up their one-year-old son, Halo. This is when she tried to discuss a visitation schedule, and when she was securing the infant in his car seat, Bailey alleged that the rapper started yelling at her, saying, 'Get out of my car, bitch.' The moment made Halle worried about leaving her crying baby with DDG in his agitated state. Following this, the incident led the former couple to engage in a fight.
