is taking legal action to protect herself and her son .
On May 13, the Little Mermaid star was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against her ex (real name Daryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) on behalf of herself and their 16-month-old son. In the legal documents, obtained by E! News, the 25-year-old alleged multiple cases of abuse.
'Throughout our relationship and continuing to date,' Halle wrote in the papers she filed seeking the order, 'Darryl has been and continues to be physically, verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive towards me.'
E! News has reached out to DDG for comment and has not heard back.
To begin, Halle detailed the alleged reputational damage she has faced as a direct result of the 'Moonwalking in Calabasas' rapper's actions.
'Whenever he wishes to cause upset,' the actress alleged, 'he starts badmouthing me to his several millions of fans. He claims I am withholding our son and that I am with other men. As a result, I then receive threats and hate on social media.'

Along with 'setting up drama for his fans' at her expense, Halle went on to state that their relationship ended last year 'because of Darryl's temper and lack of respect towards me. There have been numerous incidents of physical abuse, even before Halo was born.'
And since their breakup, the Last Holiday actress recounted instances in which DDG, 27, allegedly called her profanities, deemed her 'evil,' and made 'last-minute demands to see Halo,' before proceeding to leave him with his mother for the majority of the visit.
During one altercation in particular, which allegedly occurred when Halo was 13 months old, Halle said that DDG became agitated after she asked him to 'please set a schedule' around when he would be bring their son back.
'The next thing I knew,' she said, 'things got physical between us. We fought each other, wresting and tussling. At one point, Darryl was pulling my hair. He then slammed my face on the steering wheel, causing my tooth to get chipped. I then stopped fighting back as I was in a lot of pain. I wanted to get out of the car with Halo but was now stuck.'
With her still in the car, she alleged that DDG quickly drove them to his house.
'I begged his family who were there to help me figure out a schedule with him,' she continued. 'They said just leave Halo and go. I left hysterical. I had bruises over my arms and a chipped tooth.'
Including photos of the injuries she allegedly sustained from their fight, Halle also described multiple other alleged altercations, including receiving a 'threatening text' from DDG in March after he allegedly entered her home while she wasn't there.
'I have done everything possible to avoid going to Court,' Halle concluded. 'I have tried to placate Darryl by providing him access to Halo, even though he is not with Halo and often leaves Halo with his Mother. I have facilitated his visits, no matter where I am and often last minute. I realize that there is no placating Darryl. I cannot allow this abuse any longer. I cannot keep living like this.'

The country artist was behind the wheel of a pickup truck that struck a pedestrian June 8 in Nashville, according to a press release from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. The 77-year-old victim, identified as Dorothy Dobbins, appeared to be walking inside a marked crosswalk when the incident occurred, according to authorities. She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she died shortly thereafter. George Clooney shows off hair transformation at Tony Awards: 'I had to cut it out'

George Clooney is back to his silver fox self. The "Good Night, and Good Luck" star, who was nominated at the 78th annual Tony Awards on June 8, returned to his signature salt-and-pepper hairdo, as seen by Clooney's red-carpet appearance with wife Amal Clooney. The Oscar-winning actor had previously dyed his hair black for his starring role as CBS journalist Edward R. Murrow in the Broadway play. "I had to cut it all out with a weed whacker to get it all," Clooney told E! News. "That black hair dye, I had to cut it out. You can't color that." Despite the hairy ordeal, Clooney, 64, and Amal made a stylish splash on the Tony Awards carpet. The "ER" alum evoked Hollywood heartthrob vibes in a classic black-and-white tuxedo, while Amal, 47, stunned in a white, off-the-shoulder frock. The actor, who was up for best leading actor in a play for his portrayal of Murrow, joked about the lukewarm reception of his darker hair in an April interview with "CBS Mornings." Need a break? "Honestly, nothing makes you look older than being 63 and dyeing your hair." Just like the closing night of "Good Night, and Good Luck," which took place the same day as the Tonys, Clooney's brunette era was bound to have its final bow. The actor hinted at his hair transformation in a June 3 interview on "Late Night with Seth Meyers." "We do a matinee, and then by the time we go to the Tonys that night, it'll be gone," Clooney told Meyers. "I may have a shaved head."
