Is Taylor Swift releasing a new album? Fans certainly think so. On Monday evening, the Karma singer's official website launched a mysterious countdown set to end at 12:12 a.m., sending Swifties into a frenzy of speculation about a possible new release.
The teaser comes just months after Swift wrapped up her iconic Eras Tour. Adding fuel to the buzz, the post on her website carried the cryptic caption: 'Thinking about when she said, 'See you next era…'"
Soon after Taylor Nation shared the post, fans went all gaga over the anticipation of the upcoming album.
One of them wrote, 'STOP TEASING USSS."

In addition to the mysterious countdown and Taylor Nation's cryptic post, excitement grew on Monday when Taylor Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason Kelce, teased a 'special guest" for their upcoming podcast episode. That special guest turned out to be none other than Taylor Swift herself, further fueling fan anticipation.
Taylor Swift's Last Release
Taylor Swift's previous album, The Tortured Poet's Department, was released in April 2024 and was followed up two hours later by expanding it into a double album titled The Anthology. The album continued to become the best-selling album of the entire year. The Life of a Showgirl's announcement came after Taylor Swift ended her massive Eras Tour world tour and gained the rights back for her master albums.
